The reason the Israel attacking the bridges, the airfields, the mainroads etc. are for strategic point , just in case the Syrian finally will jump into this conflict, they will not be able to get thru to Israel from Lebanon.
And the Goland High is still occupied by the Israel, so the Syrian are totally cut off.

The hisbollah rockets are very limited, they will run out of them very soon.

But the Israelis have to worry for the syrian SAM Missiles from Bekaa Valley, I don't think the Syrian will jump in to this crisis, unless if Iran will do the join attack from the East with their long range missiles.

When it that happen, forget it ....the whole region will engulf to all out war...The Arabs Nations Finally will United and they all will abandon all the peace agreement

Its start from the influx of the PALESTINIAN that fled from their land that rugged by the WAR between The Arab Countries & ISRAEL in the mid 70's, those Palestinian taking refugee in Lebanon, and they abused the hospotality of the Lebanon People. They made their refugee camp in Southetn Lebanon as their base to counter attack to the ISRAEL , in efford for getting their land back.
In order to eliminate them Ariel Sharon moved in and occupied Southern Lebanon.
And the Lebanon itself getting to their own CIVIL WAR between The Lebanese Moslem & Lebanese Christian.
Then The Syrian & The United Stares (Marines) came in to become the Peace Keepers between those 2 factions the whole Country was destroyed.
They just returning to get their life back to normal again, in the last 8 years when finally the Israelis Army Pulled out from Southern Lebanon, and the Syrian also Pulled out about 2 years ago.
With all of that conditions that made THE LEBANESE GOVERMENT SO WEAK, they don't have enough money and don't have manpower for having thier own Military mostly Army to control the HISBOLLAH in THe SOUTH.

Back to The LEBANON, the country and the people already suffered enough from the conflict that have nothing to do with them, they are the victims from some body elses conflict.

Its start from the influx of the PALESTINIAN that fled from their land that rugged by the WAR between The Arab Countries & ISRAEL in the mid 70's, those Palestinian taking refugee in Lebanon, and they abused the hospotality of the Lebanon People. They made their refugee camp in Southetn Lebanon as their base to counter attack to the ISRAEL , in efford for getting their land back.
In order to eliminate them Ariel Sharon moved in and occupied Southern Lebanon.
And the Lebanon itself getting to their own CIVIL WAR between The Lebanese Moslem & Lebanese Christian.
Then The Syrian & The United Stares (Marines) came in to become the Peace Keepers between those 2 factions the whole Country was destroyed.
They just returning to get their life back to normal again, in the last 8 years when finally the Israelis Army Pulled out from Southern Lebanon, and the Syrian also Pulled out about 2 years ago.
With all of that conditions that made THE LEBANESE GOVERMENT SO WEAK, they don't have enough money and don't have manpower for having thier own Military mostly Army to control the HISBOLLAH in THe SOUTH.
So they already suffered enough in their own circumstances, all the trouble that the OUTSIDERS DUMPING IN THEIR COUNTRY.
At the time when they are struggle to stand on their own feet, now THE ISRAEL GOVERMENT JUST BRUTALLY SMASHED AND CRIPPLED THEIR FEET AGAIN.

If the Israel Goverment just come in and deal with the HISBOLLAH, by all mean the LEBANESE PEOPLE AND THE REST OF THE WORLD WILL HAPPY, THAT THE ISRAELIS DO THAT.

People seem to think the IDF and its tactics are tough, I know South Lebanon very well....it has taken them 5 days to take Marron Al-Ras and Bint Jbeil.... THESE ARE VILLAGES, as in goats and farm animals, and a house here and there.....

in 1982 is took 5 days to make it to Beirut.....

and this is AFTER a vicious 14 day arial bombarment of anything that moved and didnt move in the south and beirut.........

so there is no question the ability for Hezbullah to fight the superior military force in Israel. Of course ultimately, hezbullah will lose, but it isnt going to be a cakewalk like some of you are preaching....

I dont think Israel the idea was a mistake but do think the location was a mistake. We have to deal with this mistake, if US stops supporting Israel then their will be no Isreal. You probably one of those that wouldn't mind descruction of Israel, but I would mind, not only cause of millions that would die, but Israel contributes a great deal of technology to the world, I'm all about technology.

They feel the Israeli government and the movement opposes the true teachings of Judaism and is giving the religion a bad name, just like Islamists give Islam a bad name. They also pointed out that everyone lived in harmony until the UN/Brits came up with the idea to segregate the land. They said Rabbi's then opposed the state of Israel because there is something in the Torah that states that they are not allowed to have their own country, and if they do, then it would lead to destruction. not a huge force by any means, but your description of what they believe in is accurate.... they dont think the Jews will get their homeland until the messiah comes.... so this establishment of the Israeli state goes against their beliefs...
