Sad thing is, 10 years ago, it was this small village, Qana, which was the setting for another crime against civilians, when Israel dropped a bomb on a UN compound and killed over a 100 civilians.....
Many of you keep backing the assualt on the Lebanese, either your not watching enough news, and seeing the ABSOLUTE deplorable and disgusting civilian loss, or you have AN AMAZING TALENT of tuning it out, in which case, I beg you, please teach me, it must be great to live a life so carefree and have a bulletproof heart safe from any emotional impact........
and this isnt just because im Lebanese that I am saying this..... if a country was bombing Uganda, Malaysia, fucking Iceland, and everyday a bomb is being dropped on civilians, leading to massacres like Qana, I would be utterly disgusted, and would condem it...... but my logic is way left field, so what do I know?

I havent pasted pics of whats going on in this conflict, but this one is something that I think everyone can agree is as strong a picture to symbolize the loss of innocence in Lebanon......

That's terrible...but do you expect to be safe when you let a terrorist organization run and operate in your nation?
If parents want to protect their kids...try making the country they live in SAFE and not handing it over to terrorists. The more I think about this the madder I get. I feel the same way about america. WE ARE RESPONSIBLE for who runs us, and our policy- same goes for them. Don't fucking elect monsters, then cry when they act as such inciting a war...and death. That's not saying Israel isn't directly responsible for the actions they've chosen to take, but the Lebanese must be also.
Put a terrorist organization in power, and you are gambling w/ the lives of you and your family...plus the status of your nation.

yea it is, what a shame, picking a fight with a state-sponsered terrorist organization......they should have known better, no way can they outduel Israel in this game of terrorizing and killing of innocent people..... this is going to be a blowout.

Its all psychological though. People have made up their minds on the issue and they are not changing them. Unfortunately not even that horrible sad picture you posted will get someone who has been brainwashed to change their mind. And judging by the amount of replies either people dont care or they are more interested in other things. I just dont understand. But sorry to hear about the loss :(

I didnt post the pic to change minds, i havent posted a single pic of disgusting images, or articles from far left publications, which seems to be the way to debate from people arguing the other sides......
this pic just spoke volumes to me, its a beautiful girl lifeless in a red cross volunteer's arms....... it isnt a picture of a mangled body, bloody, or whatever, looks like a little dust on her and thats it, but she is dead..... its sad. What can we do though, powerless to change the crimes of the world.... we can just voice out against it and hope for brighter days in the future

there is no point to argue about these things with him, you get an auto-response....its like debating with an out-of-office message

there's nothing to debate, your country is a country run and full of terrorists that not only want israel but america destroyed. what is there to debate?

I totally agree and this is what I have been saying all along.
I do watch around 40-60 hours of news a week, my tv is always on a news channel when I'm at home working on my pc, plus the tv is on a news channel at work. I watch 3-4 different networks, plus visit a few dozen different sites including http://english.aljazeera.net . I think I spend enough time trying to get news of whats going on all over the world. I try not to comment here daily since it is a sensitive issue and it is personal to some people, and they might take my opinion a bit too personal.
It is sad to see cilivians getting killed daily, hope this will get resolved soon.

Yea maybe if Hezbolla didn't fire rockets next to the building this wouldn't have happened. It's all done on-purpose to make Israel look bad and spread propaganda. They can't beat them militarily they have to rely on under-handed skum bag tactics like firing rockets next to children and using civilians as human shields.

Same with the UN observers that got killed last week, the email that was sent hours before the death of one of the UN observers said that Hezbollah has been firing rockets right next to them. Kofi Annan was too quick to say that it was deliberate act by Israel. Hezbollah doesn't care about the civilians, that’s why they try to blend in with them. Israel's and US best interest is too have minimum civilian casualties, unlike Hezbollah who wants civilian casualties on both sides so they can use it against Israel.
