Remember those Mom Jeans from Saturday Night Live with the sexless short-haired soccer moms wearing those relaxed fit, belted-at-their-breasts jeans? This new trend might be the happy medium after years of low rise, plummer butt denim. But stonewash?

Dark jeans are slimming and sophisticated. But the relaxed fit and higher waist of Kate’s trendsetting style have a definite plus side; we may not have to see Tara Reid’s thong anymore.

I love my skinnies and havnt gotten sick of them yet...i will rock them through the winter because they look great with boots and big sweaters or long shirts...etc and when spring comes, i'll switch over to high waist lose fitted jeans with cute shirts because humidity and hot weather doesnt go well with skinny jeans lol
