Orange, Honey, and Ginger-Soy Marinade:
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon finely minced, fresh ginger root
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 tablespoon honey
Whisk all the ingredients together in a bowl. Marinate in the
refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
Note: Use to marinate chicken, fish, beef, pork, tofu or vegetables.
Do not re-use marinade. The possibility of bacteria build-up is present.
Makes 4 servings.

I tried it a few weeks ago on my chicken and it was pretty good although I am not a huge fan on ginger

BUFFALO CHICKEN WRAPS
This only makes 2 servings so if you want more just double up the recipe...great off season wrap!
1/2lb boneless chicken breasts, cubed
1/2 tsp canola oil
2 TBSPS Louisiana-style HOT sauce
1 cup shredded lettuce
2 flour tortillas (6 inches), warmed
2 tsps bottled reduced-fat ranch dressing
2 TBSPS crumbled blue cheese OR part skim shredded mozzarella cheese
In a nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray, cook chicken in oil for 6 minutes; drain. Stir in hot sauce. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered, for 3-5 minutes or until sauce is thickened and chicken juices run clear.
Place lettuce on tortillas; drizzle with ranch dressing. Top with chicken mixture and cheese; roll up.
1 wrap=273 calories, 11 g fat (3 g saturated), 70 mg cholesterol, 453 mg sodium, 15 g carbs; 1 g fiber, 28 g protein.
I rely heavily on Marinades for my steak and chicken.
Keeps things tastey and isnt too bad for you except the sodium.
I grill EVERYTHING ALWAYS! I use my BBQ in snowstorms!(Im not even joking, lol)
Check out Ken's Marinades and Emerils Marinades and seasonings.
For side dishes I alternate between steamed broccoli and these organic fries I found made my Alexia Foods. I bake them and they taste awesome...unseasoned fries and the sweet potato fries are the best!

POST turkey chilli recipe i loe chili
Ingredients
-Ground Turky Meat (I get the one with a little fat, I think its dark meat...the all white meat is gross IMO)
-Chili Powder packet
-can of Goya Red Kidney beans
-can of DelMonte diced tomatoes and green chiles
-can of whole kernal corn
-can of tomato sauce
-small can of tomato paste
-Take a pot and spray it with pam spray.
-Throw in the meat and basically chop it with a spoon or something until its all browned.
-Drain the fat out, but be careful that the meat doesnt fall into the sink, lol!
-Add a 1/4 cup of water and ALL of the ingredients.
-Cook on hi.
-Stir!!
-Bring to a boil.
-Turn heat down to low and let it simmer for 20-25 min STIRRING OFTEN!!
I like to mix in some low fat Sargento Mexican cheese from the packet as it simmers. Adds some consistency.
I usually eat it with some whole grain crackers or even some baked Tostitos or something.

marinades are def the way to go, i let them sit in a ziplock in the fridge for 2 days if you throw a table spoon of olive oil in it (only some marinades would take the olive oil it may clash with the taste if its asain or something like that.) the chicken really plumps up and gets nice and juicey. the only thing bad is they have sodium but after some cardio tats all gone anyhow.
bison is also great, you can buy it in any supermarket, so is ostrich meat.
in whole wheat wraps with some fetta cheese and greens.
big big fish eater, tilapia, chillean sea bass, theres so much good shit to cook thats not bad for you.
scrambled eggs in the am and put some n fat cheddar with salsa in it, in a tortilla whole wheat wrap with a scoop of no fat sour cream great breakfast burrito.
sides sweet potatoes , lentil soups (not the can shit),
