I know mine are fucked up as all hell but im trying to find the most low impact movements for my quads. I have never really done legs at all just played basketball but any bending of the knees is not fun at all. I know i have to get looked at and i have been putting it off. Any sugestions on some exercises?

leg extensions. i had a torn acl and my entire meniscus (cartilate) removed and it was the first "lift" they had me doing.
could also do the reverse of that, leg curls.
id also just recommend doing core exercises like squats, just do lighter weight and have good form.

Sadly it hurst to do them. I know if i could do legs i could easily gain another 15lbs on my quads. Just from playing basketball for two weeks my legs blow up and im dunking two hands again :wallbang stooopid knees

dude basketball is probably the worst thing you could ever do for your knees, besides smashing them with a hammer directly. smooth lifting movements wont hurt as much if you lay off the wood floor

leg extensions have been tested against squats. they stimulate the legs in a very simular way, but squats are much more natural and relase the hormones. you dont even have squat heavy. throw on a plate and work with that. do 15-20 reps and itll even help rehabilitate your knees.

i have really fucked up knees from when i played highschool football. i hadent been doing legs that seriously but i figured that its time that i have to get them in shape. i started doing legs regularly in my workout about a month ago and i definately fell so much better than before.

i do 5 sets of 5 squats
and 10x3 extension curl and calfs

not to much i think im gonna step it up soon
