Yup :agree thats right....Im officially counting points now.....

20pts a day......it was tough the first couple of days getting used to smaller portions and what not but Im really loving it right now.

I can still eat WHATEVER I want, its just portioned now so that I stay within my point limit.

I can already see a small change.....Im hoping for a 10-12lb loss!!!

Hmmm so I was wondering how in the long run this pt system works. When you stop using weight watchers and stop counting points what would u have learned in the long run? Is it the right portion control???

yeah i would say portion control. Eventually eating less or eating many smaller meals will cause you to start eating less or getting full quicker than you would have with just any amount of food that you were eating in the past.

i LOVE weight watchers. i started a few weeks ago.. i get 23 (or 22) points per day and so far i've lost 8lbs! i've been on it for 4 weeks, so i've been losing 2lbs per week. i go get weighed in every saturday. i never thought i'd love hearing the phrase "youre a loser" so much :lostit

have you tried the smart ones dinners? the rigatoni with broccoli and chicken in a white sauce is awesome. i also love the salisbury steak with mac&cheese, lol. YUMMY

yeah so far i have lost 2lbs.....according to the book i get 20pts aday....i dont go to meetings or anything, i got all the materials and counters from my friend who used to belong......

I like the flex points too so you dont have to feel bad if you have a nice dinner to go to or want to have a few drinks.

Weight Watchers is good for learning about portions, but personally, I think if people ae serious about losing the weight and keeping it off, you need to cut out those indulgences. Im not saying to never cheat or to never eat out, but I see these women on WW eating Calzones and saying how many points it was!! How about you put the calzone down and eat something a little healthier and keep that weight coming off??
The key is to first understand portioning, then fill those portions with healthy foods. Thats a sure fire way to get the pounds off.
The premae meals are ok if you're on the run, but they are full of sodium which is only gonna make u retain water and look bloated.
Learn to cook similar meals yourself, minus all the preservatives and sodium.
Good luck Eck!

P.S....are you going to the thing for Lauren Tuesday? Erika sent me a note, but I asked her how I could contribute if I cant make it out there.
