im workin on a honeymoon now and the budget is 15k
no problem-

but they want 5* properties breakfast daily-Austrailia/Tahiti

Overwater horizon bungalows- minimum is 20k. (not with 1st class seats)

I so want this Bride to be happy, i will please her...but she isn't going to pay 15k

ahh after the New Year im thinkin im going 2 open another savings for a dream honeymoon for myself :chuckle

well theyre a little retarded to think they could get away with paying $15K total for 5-star properties in Tahiti & Australia, with bungalows on the water :floor :yourcrazy

they should do a little research. if they had read anything about Tahiti they'd know how ridiculously expensive it is. air tickets alone...hmm...New York, Australia, Tahiti, whats that? $4,000 EACH for coach? that's half their budget...then youre talking about 5-star hotels...in those places what are they? at least $400 a night? Those bungalows are like $500 a night...theyre in for a rude awakening lol...try making a phone call from Tahiti to NY, its like $5 a minute :yourcrazy i bet they want to go for like 3 weeks too lolol...wow people, do research, i'm so happy i'm not a travel agent anymore because people think they can travel to exotic places for not so exotic rates and they get PISSED at YOU when you cant deliver :booted

you so know what im sayin, Flights are not as expensive into these destinations as they us to be..plus they r bulk rates so they r a lot cheaper then published so total with inter flights and domestic and international flights are total around 5g's the hotels are mad expensive...1100 a night overwater bungalow...and step into pool view in Cairns Austrailia and the hot top hotel in Sydney- :pullhair but 2 be honest i love puttin honeymoons together (of course when they have NO BUDGET)

but for this Bride
i did it- total with all flights Austrailia-Cairns/Sydney Tahiti- Papette and Bora Bora 16days 14 nights total of $16,822 my Boss just saw my email quote to her- it's a bit over what she expects to pay- but COME ON- Everything is top 5* hotels and room categories...and said better book for all she has put me through haha BUT im still waiting on the Maldives quotation but im expecting that to be an easy 20g's
fingers crossed its a good commish in my pocket

I'm sure my honeymoon will cost like 30k, I know the first place I want to go is 18k for 7 days, and the second is going to probably around 11-12k but hey it's something you only do once in your life time, to me I rather have a smaller more intimate wedding and a fucking bananas honeymoon.

Hawaii, 3 islands in all oceanfront rooms @ least in a 4* - 5* is going to cost you minimum of (or more) 10g's add food and excursions nice cars in each island -ur now up @ a total of 16-19g's

im just sayin...to have an ideal honeymoon now the minimum u going to spend is 10g's on land only... and that can still get you something very nice memorable and all...but include meals-gifts-tours whatever.

I think all the honeymoon packages i've been doin here in the office are Couples who have to top each others honeymoon-bc they are all a circle of friends or friends of friend...and god forbid they do the same thing lol they just have to top each other...pathetic.

anyway Jen, when its your time- ill hook it up with mad upgrades and discounts ;) so u can go to south pacific and spend the price of a hawaii trip -Just for YOU!!! :heart

yea-that's why i like to offer future brides the option of puttin the honeymoon on there registry...

like example-you and ur fiance- ideally settle on a honeymoon budget of 12g's-

u come&-tell me...well -we can afford to pay this but we would like to put it as part of our registry-- at the end they will pay the balance- IF there is 1 or if it remains as is (minus the deposit)

many people believe it or not buy gifts and then purchase 100 paid recipet twds there honeymoon-it's nice bc at final payment sometimes the couple either pay the difference of 50 bucks- or 4000 lol. but it saves...many brides now have guy/girl showers and guys feel it's easier to go pay the honeymoon then walk into a fortuneoff's and bc a lot of men don't know how much to spend they leave 200-500 lol which is way generous of what women leave...
