best hotel/most fun to stay in vegas?

when the pool is open i would stay at the hard rock, although i heard the palms re-did their pool, my fav part about vegas was the hard rock pool--the only thing was that i didnt really leave the hotel at all, and the casino is also really small

when i went i stayed at the Bellagio bc we wanted that type of hotel- our friends who wanted the more party scene stayed at the Hard Rock- or Mandalay i heard the Palms has a nice happening scene as well...also depends when u go to VEgas- i went MDW and it was Crazy-@ at the Hard Rock/Mandalay

are you talking about Tryst? its soo small though. i stayed at the Wynn and checked in late saturday night.. the line was stupid .. it wrapped along the entire lobby! my fave club in vegas is def Tao. I :heart that place !


i would say most fun - hard rock but the rooms are average.

The nicest would be either Wynn, Bellagio or Venetian. if you dont care about gambling i would recommend the Signature Suites at MGM. its not in MGM but connected. ITs a condo hotel, the rooms are top of the line, the bathroom was half the size of my rooom with a jacuzzi and a flat screen tv in their too! and it was relatively inexpensive. (under $200 a night). Another great perk.. a separate cab line from MGM so you dont have to wait that long

Jen.. funny thing about the hooters hotel...when I went LDW last year we were all making fun of the hooters hotel bc they had adds on the top of cab cars...Ok you think hooters, you think :BOOBS right? Well the ad was two older people that were unattractive, slightly overweight, and playing slots....like you owuld go to the hooters hotel to play the slots hehehe

As far as hotels... I am addicted to Mandalay Bay... TheHOtel is gorgeous but honestly so is regular mandalay. Palms is supposed to be hot but thing is, its away from everything off the strip (same with hardrock)...But I was at least impressed with hard rock...palms didnt do it for me. If your going Rehab season (april29th- end of sept)...yes, its supposedly the last year, but if you go at that time you would want to consider staying there just to get into rehab without the wait.

The best hotel is the VENETIAN!!!!! The rooms are beautiful and very big and the hotel is simply amazzzzzzing :heart

For a fun hotel I would stay in either the Mandalay, 4 seasons, the Palms or Rio!!!

Hard rock - for pool atmostpshere, but the rooms kinda suck, but they have one main bar that is a real happening spot 24hrs, mor eof a party hotel not a couples thing (off the stirp though, and cabs add up in vegas)

Ventian - more for couples, very nice rooms, pricey, and lots to do in the hotel plus location is right on strip, very nice pool, but more of a older crowd,

Belagio - See venetian review


New york New york - Cheaper of the hotels, and still in a prime location, decent rooms, but nothing special, more of a place to just stay to stay, poll is nothing special


LUXOR - one of my favorites for when I used to go on the holiday weekend, they have great sized pool, young crowd, and lots to do, and they arent that pricey, but make sure you stay in the towers, and not the pyramid, the rooms are better there, plus there is a walkway and a mall that connect it to the mandalay so there is easy acess to all they have to offer


Manadaly - overpriced, overcroweded IMO, I hate it

THE HOTEL - see above and adds more retards to an already overcrowded POOL area, they built this hotel and no new pool, do the math ...but they did add MOREA beach (sp) topless bathing at its best


PALMS - i hated it when I stayed, too far off the beaten path, and the hotel lobby gets mobbed around 8 or 90 when the bars start to open there, its madness, cant even get to your rooom without fighting crowds, and their pool was small, so trying to get a seat anytime after 9 am BLOWs, plus they had some bullshit thing where people reserved their seats. and when they werent showing up by 11, they still would not let us sit there, the fight that ensued, pretty much sealed my deal there ..def dont reccomend it

i wouldnt say the hard rock "sucks' if your single thats where you would go--hands down the best pool out there

im pretty sure the palms re-did the whole area, but i still dont hear alot about it :giveup
and MOREA is also $50 bux to get in if ur at ur hotel
so the luxor has its own pool....interesting--alot of people i know stay out there

the mirage, rio, and mgm always seem to have good prices--never stayed though

The Venetian...well its a lil pricey but its worth every penny. :heart that hotel. I do agree its good for COUPLES not for groups...

Mandalay is Fun though. A lot of people and love the beach thing they have going.

I actually like the four seasons WAAAAY better and its in the same building. It also has its own pool and the FOOD/ROOM SRV is 20 times better than Mandalay and you have the luxury of being able to go into Mandalays pool if you stay in the four seasons. :)

When I went, I stayed at the Bellagio... The hotel was abolutely beautiful and there were plenty of stores within the hotel to shop in (the walk to the forum shops in Ceasars wasn't bad either). The pool area was nice. Although like FAST said, older people usually stay here.

My boyfriend and I are probably going back at the end of the summer and I think we're probably staying in MGM. Can anyone tell me anything about this place?

i WAS disappointed with the pint sized casino, and there was nowhere for me roam when i had insomnia

yeah Luxor has a pretty big pooiol and good cabana service

I stay there alot, plus it is very affordable for groups for the location

and if you know anyone at mandalay, you can get in no problem

just make sure you askf ro the towers, the rooms in the pyramid were a bit run down when I last stayed, and you lose some of the room since it is on a slant, due to design


but luxor is def a good spot

I liked venetian

more o n the pricey side, but the rooms were big and nice,

im a big hotel junkie and have a high standard of what I will stay in

venetian def fits the bills, but you pay for that comfort ,


so if your loooking to go all out, then def hit it up, same with bellagio, although I liked venetian over bellagio because the hotel had more to do / see

but vegas you can go to whatever hotel you want, so dont stay anyone place just cause of their attractions

esp if your on budget

i'm partial to the MgM Grand and IMO best all-around Hotel, Casino. Hands down the best customer service in Vegas. From the Check-in counter, to the dealers, to the hotel staff, they go out of their way for you. Its in Prime Location, rite in the middle of everything. The action on the casiono floor is always hoppin and the dealers are very courtesy unlike the scum in AC. The Pool is good but not great but you can make the most out of it
