I'm not making a statement here, but you gotta know that if you pick up a stone and start throwing it at tanks, you're outgunned, and if you get shot, it's your own fault.

Yeah but dude,

Thats a big difference. You cant see from inside the tank if they have a molitov cocktail or a grenade . And you especially dont want to find out. Id shoot the motherfuckers too

you're preaching to the choir - some of my best friends and relatives have/are served/serving in the IDF. my dad fought in '67 and '72 . .my grandfather fought in '48 and served in '52 and so on and so forth . . .

Actually now that i think about it. Running over them would be much more fun..lol..I was watching The Best Of Cops last night when the guy stole the tank in L.A. and went on a 40 min demolition spree..lol

To do so would presume that I have the faintest idea of life there for either side which I don't. But before I lay fault, I would first examine what would drive a man to behave in a seemingly futile manner as to throw a rock at a tank. I would ask why is the tank there.

boredom? frustration at not having a job? is this ironic given that Arafat has a net worth of over $1.3 billion? (yep yep). boy, has he let down hte palestinians - a viable economy is their only road to sovereignty.

As to why is the tank there? B/c Israelis are brave in that they send in their young boys to root out the terrorist infrastructure (and yes by now it almost sounds like a cliche catch phrase, but it's true) as opposed to just carpet bombing the place like some think they should. It's not fair that my boy from Highland Park who just wants to live in Jerusalem in peace has to spend one month per year engaging in activities that would make most of us shi* our pants (you think it's scary walking through harlem at night? try jenin). so that's why the tank is there - b/c Israel made a conscious decision to send that tank instead of an F-16.
