April 29- May 4th ...Staying @ MGM Grande

I'm finally going and I'm very excited....(We did this instead of Mexico)

I think April 29th is the opening party for Rehab which should be nice :)

Any suggestions on lounges, restaurants, even silly shows to go see?? :sneaky

we are going end May for the 2nd time so i've been on the Vegas hunt too lol

anyways..

Restaurants:

Top of the World at the Stratosphere: this is more of an experience like no other.. we went 2 years ago and wow.. the restaurant is on the hotel's 106th floor and it rotates..so you get a 360 degree view of the strip - it's ridiculous. food is great too.

I think u pretty much summed it up... we did China Grill too but since they have one here and in Miami I guess it isn't really a must-go.. still great food though :spitfall

But yea we spent a lot of time at the pool.. did the Rehab party.. the Stratosphere was def one of my fave places there.. food was awesome too..

If u are gonna see a show I'd say def go w/a Cirque show.. Ive heard none of the others are really worth it although I did enjoy La Femme when we went but who knows if that is still playing and even if it is I doubt your BF would be into it, lol.

I went to Vegas in december and food wise the best i ever ate in my life was in Michael Mina's restaurant. its a bit pricey but worth every penny, I seen "Blue Mans Group" it was sickkkk, David Coperfield was insane as well.

Definately going to check out Wulfgang Puck's...esp. since it's in our hotel...Nice and convenient!! As far as shows, I was thinking about checking out the Love Cirque du Soleil (which is the Beatles inspired show) .....I've heard nothing but good things about there shows....I also wanted to check out Folies Bergere ! Anyone check that out?

I wouldn't take a helicopter ride..I'm sure it's great but I'm too freaking scared :shuffle Bad enough I have to fly 2 Vegas lol

Stratosphere restaurant I'll definately check out- Love rotating restaurants....I went to the one @ the Marriot Marquis in the city so I'm sure the one in Vegas has 4594080x better view :yipee

also... def try out tryst at the wynn. When i went ldw weekend tao ws awesome too.. they had morillo though but my girls went a few nights before and it was the house dj and he was great.. you just have to search all the rooms to find what you like there.

I am going to be seriously jetlagged....We are taking off at like 6:50 A.M. from JFK landing in Vegas @ like 9:30 their time.....Yeah I will be napping then hopefully waking up and going to the opening party at Rehab......How long you think I'll have to wait? Def have to 'juice the bouncer' ....I'm from NY that should be good enough LOL.....

We decided to go see "O" ....Wanted to check out Folies too.....I'm a sucker for dancing lol....

i would do the reservations like a few days- a week in advance...but if u are flexible with times you can do it like the day before.

ok rehab...well the first year i went we did labor day and got on line around 9ish bc we didnt know the deal. Im happy we did though bc although we waited till it opened we were towards the very front of line...and that thong got reallllly long. Then last labor day we lucked out and made friends with this guy who hooked us up and we got there 15 mins before it opened and we cut a 6hr line. he doesnt work there anymore BuT he works at tao rok box and empire ballroom now. if ur interested in that i can talk to him for u. def gonna have to grease the door guy though at rehab...message me on my space and we can discuss that...

oh and empire ballroom is the good afterhrs place...sorry to mumble...bored at work
