i would highly recommend an all-inclusive resort i went to back in 1999, called
Coral Costa Caribe in Dominican Republic...
i am not sure what it is like now, but it was very nice when i was there, food and drinks all day long, games, sports, a gym, tennis, golf, snorkelling (sp?)... etc...

Well, it's a very nice property BUT the reviews are mixed.
DR alone is a very hit or miss island...a lot of people either Love it or Hate it
i have a majority always complain that the food sucks and they come back ill.
i only sell DR if the client wants it i wont suggest it...

I have hears mixed reviews from EVERYONE that comes back from DR, no matter what resort or part of the island they stayed in...
seems like things have changed over the years.... SO i guess my recommendation is not really valid... :shrugger
Are you a travel agent???? If so, I can use your help..... for a trip in May... :)

I just came back from Punta Cana, DR - April 18 thru April 25, 2007.
I don't like to stay at the same hotel twice, so we decided to stay at Occidental Resorts.
By far the best BEACHES in the Carribean.
My next stop is CUBA!
just jess

nicest beach ive been too was in Anguilla, talk about white sand (blinding). Took a ferry boat over from St. Marteen. There are very few resorts on this island very small and expensive.
have visisted many islands this was the clearest water i have seen to date.
