I am dying to go back to miami.... hoping some time late in the summer or the fall for work.

i just got back.. and i wanna come with you guys! but this weekend just confirms that OFf weekends are the best weekensd to go to Miami.

here is my review:
fridaty night my flight was delayed. we just went to a sportsbar to watch the game. (ie. there arent many in south beach, so if you are looking for one.. go to Quarterdecks on Alton road). my friend al's flight was delayed even longer and didnt get in til 2am! by that time i was spent and slept. he and Casey hit up rok bar for last call

Saturday: got up early, hit the beach... and then headed over to the pool at the Flamingo Apartment complex. LOL this place reminded me of a smaller, slightly tamer version of the beach at Oasis in cancun. haha ok so the crowd is slightly older, average age 25 instead of 18. pool right by the beach that is on the intercoastal/bay. with a dj and grill. they were also giving out comps/bracelts for Suite that ninght too! (promoters at the apt pool). i cant even imagine trying to live there.. its like a glorified dorm! after we got completely fried, we headed inside to a friends apt to toggle between the sox/yanks game and the draft. in the evening, we headed to Sky bar/red room at the shore club. the night wasnt over the top but it was still a great night. so good in fact, that one of my friends is now banned from Sky Bar hahah.

sunday.. after waking up to find out that we got Randy Moss in the steal of the century! we caught the sox game, and then headed to Nikki beach. i thought it was just ok. maybe cuz we got there too late bc of the game. later we headed to Monty's, great little seafood/beach bar on the other side of the bay by nikki beach. Sunday night, we started off at the Raleigh hotel for drinks and then went to check out Set. I say this is a must! we got there early enough (around midnight) that we walked right in w./ no problem. Music was great (house) and it was a good crowd. This is the type of place/night that i miss. it seems to be more of a challenge now adays to find this combo (music and crowd) and probably why i dont bother going out as often anymore. or i am just getting old and boring hahah actually i saw Danny Tenaglia there! he was hanging out wi a couple people and even caught him dancing. hehe i said hi! :keke and that i missed him at Arc/Vinyl. he said he missed it too.. :( the only problem -this place is kinda small so i can imagine on a thurs, fri, sat night this place is packed out.. Sunday was just the perfect amout of ppl. room filled up quicly but yet still space so you werent getting bounced around like a pinball.

we closed out Set, so monday mornings flight was very hurtful. thank god ithe sun was shining in ny when i landed otherwise i would have stayed on the plane LOL

oh well, ill be back in Miami soon enough in July for a week

Get your ticket for the weekend I am going...if you need to crash in my room, you can
