Look at the reasons that may be contributing to your lack of drive to hit the gym. Is it over-training or are there personal issues affecting your life to the point of de-motivation to hit the gym.
I've been there. For me, a break from the gym and putting on a little weight gets me amped enough to hit the gym hard again.
Whatever the case, a break can be good; just dont let the break be too long.

sometimes i get this way in the summer, even though the summer makes you want to get into good shape, there is sometimes the heat and humidity less appetite, lathergic, and even worse i suffer from alergies for a good portion of late spring early summer. believe it or not alot more people are becomign suscetable to allergies who never had them previously. allergies are sure to make you feel like shit.
if none of that pertains to you, then maybe its your food or your sleep patterns. it happens to everyone i think. it def does to me at least. switch up your workouts complete, try working out outside even if you can. just break the monotany of the same faces and places.

I sometimes hit these slumps too. I ususally find it happens most either when I have pesronal shit going on or on mondays after going out on the weekend. My monday workouts r always half ass.
I also sometines find I don't want to go to the gym when I gained some weight..meanwhile that's when I neeeed to go.
Just no matter what I still go every day even when I don't want to...this way I don't fall out of routine

I'm going through the same shit, everyday around 2-4 I get this insane desire to nap... and when I can't nap I'm miserable, I've been living off rockstar/ monster drinks atleast 1 a day to get me over that "mid day slump" or whatever its called , which isn't good but whatever
