if you do them properly and heavy enough, youll see results sooner than 3 months

i say for everyone. women shouldn't go HEAVY like men do but atleast challenge yourself. they are compound movements so they work multiple muscles in each rep. you get more bang for your buck, as they say

Power Cleans is the full motion of picking up the barbell from the floor to over your head. Like a Power lift?

Id look like a jackass doing that with 25s on each side of the bar lol.

nice bro. a 405 deadlift at 165 is impressive.

im 185 pulling 405 for a max. love the feeling

ive cleaned from the floor 225 once. i usually toss around 185 as well. shit is tiring.

my girl just started working out with me doing deads , sqauts, military press, bench, dips and pullups. 3 times a week with this. in 2 weeks a PROFOUND difference in her body. shes been telling me (since she never worked out like this) this is the most she ever felt her ass back thighs and everything in between sore for days. thats a good thing.

these excersices are all you really need honestly. isolation excersice in my opinion give one a false sense of strength and are not proper range of motion.

people pick up stuff, push stuff, jump and climb trees, swing a bat or throw a punch, stand tall or crawl on there belly thru barbwire, these things all benefit from rull range of motion multiple muscle grouped lifts. (compounds) its how your body is designed to work. i think back on the farms people did tthis stuff without realizing it, the basics are here for a long time, and have worked for a long time as well. only recently alot of newer technologies and forms of working out, fads and such started to really pop up. but like alot of times in life things come full circle, and many muscle buidlings traniners coaches, gurus are all about these old school excersises cause tehy work and work really great. (if performed correctly otherwise you can really hurt your self)
my only problem is not to go too heavy and too much weight cause it tightens me up when i train either boxing or MMA. legs get really tight from squats, i been substituting lunges for them.

i think i put on the most muslce when i started to deadlift and squat, many of my close friends still don't do them and talk about the leg press and such, but in my opinion they all are wide on there shoulders big chest and thats about it. no one has a full symetrical figure. well except for me. ;-P

nah but these excersices are the shit. do em, guys and gals.

agreed 10000%

core trianing is terribly important if your into any combatitives.plyos give you that explosion.

It must be a mental thing for me for doin deadlifts. I will just do the bar and i fuck my form up with the quickness. It must be cause if i hurt myself i cant work or something. I cant get the form down for the life of me.

im so happy to see people actually understanding that compound lifts (movements that involve multiple muscles to move through a plane of motion) will literally transform your body COMPLETELY.

remember, the body is designed to work as a unit.
