I have a big problem eating a lot of fruit and veggies. My taste buds just don't like them, I dont even like any type of salad.
Do you need to eat a lot of them?

nah not really, only fruit i ate while on the diet was a cup of blackberries.if you just stick to the basics as far as protein, carbs, and fat you'll be fine imo.

I would think its hard to do the diet w/o eating any veggies at all.. unless u are really creative in the kitchen, I don't think that there's much u can do with just chicken, lean protein & fish, etc... I would assume u would end up increasing carb intake which can't possibly be good for ur diet even if u do stick to whole grains.

I was never into veggies either, but in the past couple years as my interest in staying fit and working out grew, I learned to start eating them.
I think your best bet is steamed broccoli and then use that fat free spray butter, a little salt and pepper and some 2% parmesan cheese. You'll eventually learn to like the broccoli maybe w/out all the stuff on it
Also, steamed asparagus with spray butter and some salt and pepper
Celery sticks
Cucumber
mixed green sald -- find a healthy dressing you like...I personally like a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar

I love all vegetables except beets.. unfortunately my fave vegs are the starchy ones though which are higher in carbs (eggplant, corn, squash, etc)

women wear high heels to look sexy,
you get in the gym rain sleet or snow tired as hell 5 times a week to look good,
you pay taxes so you stay out of jail,
guys wear uncomfortable suits at job interviews to get the job..
see where im going iwth this?
if life was all about doing stuff you love to do it would be a ball all the time.
force yourself to eat it. you need fruits and veggies as part of your diet or your not getting all the vitamins you need plus you wont want to binge so much. apples , oranges, pears, grapes, peaches, plums, cherries, strawberries bannanas how can anyone not like this stuff? i can understand you saying you don't like collard greens but fruits?!?!?!
sometimes you gotta do shit you don't want to to win the game.
good luck.

they will separate..
make them in the morning...portion out everything before u go to bed..then in the AM throw it in and blend it up in 2 minutes..
Abs diet book has a lot of good smoothie recipes...
