And yet with all the military equipment (courtesy us), the Israelies are still fighting back attacks; though, hopefully, that may come to an end in our lifetime.

The Israelies are just as bad as the Arabs and if it wasn't for the U.S. Israel wouldn't exsist.

There's no denying that the Israel receives aid from the U.S. (as well as the U.S. giving aid to the palestinians) but the U.S. benefits from it's relations with Israel too, e.i. having an ally in the region, intelligence reports etc but it's also U.S. pressure that prevents Israel from going all out & ending this whole intafada situation.

but if it weren't for the US, Israel would not have the means at its disposal by which to end this whole intifada in an all out fashion
:silly round-n-round we go :silly

Israel vs. The Rest of the Middle East will definitely be the starting point for the 3rd world war if there is one.

If you're referring to the weapons that Israel purchases from the U.S., yes of course it helps but they (Israel) also buy weapons from other countries & make their own as well. The U.S. has also armed Israel's enemies in the past too just like other countries have done, e.i. Russia, Jordan etc
Just like you said round & round we go and I don't have time to argue/debate about this on here, it's still not going to make a difference on what goes on over there.

US support is a factor but definately not the sole factor for the success Israel has had in war. Israeli soldiers are known to be elite noone denies that. Didn't the last 2 wars with Iraq teach us something about the effectiveness of Arab armies??

i dunno - that's pure speculation. they were doing pretty well given the circumstances right up until the first aid from the USA started circa the Six Day War.
again, it's pure speculation. for all we know, Israel would've alligned itself w/Russia or England or would've grown as a power by itself. I mean, come on, let's give credit to where it's due . .Israel fought a lot of wars LONG BEFORE it had american aid and did very well. Israel also turned the desert into a decent agricultural based economy . .etc etc . . .plus Israel supplies the US w/alot of high technology . .there's just no denying this.
