Flip flopping like crazy ..2 weeks ago she said she we end the war as soon as she was elected.. Then she breaks her promise to boycott fox news and does chris wallace fox sun morning show.. while on fox she took a much tougher stance and would not commit to any timetables or hypothecticals but access the situation every 6 months or so.. Lol now she Gen Petraeus all of a sudden ..anyhow this is an article detailing how Giuliani will and can easily defeat her in 08 .. If the dems do not choose Obama this race is over ..She gonna look 50x worse than kerry because she was so hawkish and pro war in 02, 03, & 04, ..when the debates between her and republicans how is she ever going to live with those quotes?? here a great one..

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological
weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program.
He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."
Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002

Hillary Clinton 'could cost Democrats dear'

Rudy Giuliani, the Republican presidential candidate, would win in more than 30 marginal districts currently held by Democrats, a new poll says.

Full coverage: US Elections 2008
The leaked survey by the Democratic pollsters Lake Research confirmed fears that the "very polarised image" of Hillary Clinton, their party's front runner, could lose them the 2008 election.

Barack Obama, who is second in the Democratic presidential candidate stakes, also trailed Mr Giuliani in 31 marginal congressional districts.

A private memo by Lake Research, leaked to The Washington Post, painted what they described as a "sobering picture" for Democrats who believe President George Bush's "disastrous favourability" almost guarantees they will capture the White House next year.

All polls on party preferences show that Democrats are much more popular than Republicans. But when the names of individual candidates are used, the gap narrows considerably.

The poll found that Mr Giuliani, a centrist Republican with liberal stances on abortion and gay rights, leads Mrs Clinton by 49 per cent to 39 per cent in the swing districts. The former mayor of New York enjoyed a much slimmer lead of just one per cent over Mr Obama.

It has long been known that Mrs Clinton has "high negatives" among voters but the assessment of Mr Obama that his "image is soft, and one-fifth of voters do not have a firm impression of him" was a surprise. The poll found that Mrs Clinton, in particular, could damage the chances of congressional Democratic candidates on the ballot.

Andy Andrew, a Democratic chairman in Greenville, South Carolina - a key primary state - said: "I'd be a little bit dishonest if I didn't admit that in some parts of the country, and probably my own, having Hillary Clinton at the top of the ticket will have some impact further down."

Frank Luntz, a leading Republican pollster, said: "This poll reveals what grassroots Democrats have been concerned about. Hillary is their choice ideologically but not necessarily politically and they're afraid she could lose.

"Democrats want to win more than anything else and they will compromise on policy to achieve electability."

He said Mrs Clinton prompted perceptions about herself including "a lack of candour" and "harshness".

Hillary Clinton's campaign team "killed" a negative magazine story by using an article on her husband as bait, it was claimed yesterday.

According to Politico newspaper, Clinton advisers told GQ that if the article was published they would withdraw co-operation over a piece on Bill Clinton, expected to feature on December's cover.

Jim Nelson, editor of GQ, said: "Yes, we did kill a Hillary piece. We kill pieces all the time for a variety of reasons."

Rightwingers are scared shitless from the Hillary machine. I have little doubt she will be the next president of the United States. I want Obama, but im a realist and I think she is unstoppable..... no chance a republican will win the seat. Iraq is the Grim Reaper for you guys.... Independents left your party the second this war started..... its ova hova.

I think Hillary will have more problem getting the nomination then winnning the election. All the knocks on her(woman, hated, etc........) will be out the window if she secures the nomination........and their is Iraq, and if the economy starts crashing, I wouldn't be suprised to see Greenspan back her too. Oh and if the Republican's don't counter the universal healthcare agenda they're fucked.

She is hitting on all cylinders right now.... even her healthcare is winning admiration from some serious people on the right.... She obviously has learned alot from the disaster in 93.

And her Iraq position is 100000% better than anyone on the other side. responsible withdrawal, diplomatic push, and a residual force to deal with AlQeada in the early years after the occupation (much like obama's plan). A refocus on Al Qeada in Afganistan and Pakistan.

And her likeability has risen steadily in the past two months during her media blitz and by all account, she has won all or most of the debates....

The republicans are very scared of her right now.

And to top it off, the Republicans are refusing to debate to black and latin audiences, lol.... completely alienating massive amounts of votes.... even Bush and Newt are wondering what the fuck are they thinking.... They might as well debate in a country clun in Conneticut and be done with it...

Iraq and Healthcare are 1 and 2 right now and the reps are way behind the dems on both.

I would have agreed with you if bush never fired rumsfeld ..but since choosing petraeus, crocker, and gates i think the independants are alot more comfortable with that team ..I would have agreed with you if the surge created more american troops being killed, and sectarian violence going through the roof .. But it has declined, and military progress is definitly being made..

On the other hand if she does win she isnt ending this war at all ..you forget the clintons go to war quite easily ..we bombed how many countries when billy boy was in office?? Iraq,(so i guess Bill was lying about WMD 4 years before GW bush lololol) Bosnia, Sudan, & Haiti

her position on Iraq has changed 3 times in the last 2 months..and basically called petraeus a liar ..Now she went on fox news sunday and basically stated petraeus position ...lol you used to bash her all the time ..your just pissed your party picks unelectable politicians 4 years with the exception of bill clinton ..now lets look at clintons numbers and he was very popular but even billy boy couldnt pull 50% of popular vote..

Clinton won the 1992 presidential election (43.0% of the vote) against Republican George H. W. Bush (37.4% of the vote) and billionaire populist H. Ross Perot, who ran as an independent (18.9% of the vote) on a platform focusing on domestic issues;

In the 1996 presidential election, Clinton was re-elected, receiving 49.2% of the popular vote over Republican Bob Dole (40.7% of the popular vote) and Reform candidate Ross Perot (8.4% of the popular vote), becoming the first Democrat to win reelection to the presidency since Franklin Roosevelt. The Republicans lost a few seats in the House and gained a few in the Senate, but overall retained control of the Congress

Like I always said, I hold it against her that she voted to give the lunatic authorization to use force.... you NEVER give a 2 year old a loaded gun, ever!....

and her refusal to apologize for it and admit her mistake pisses me off to no end.... we already have an asshole for the past 7 years who never "makes mistakes" lol.... dont need another...

having said that, she is rediculously intelligent, ambitious, well respected, hard working ... definitely a political opportunist, but being that every single poll and news coming out of anywhere supports the left and democratic way of thinking thanks to the catastrophic mistakes one after the other that this administration has commited.... im sure she will lead in a way that I would want..... without a doubt she is better than anyone from the right. I would much rather prefer obama.

Ill agree she smart, very ambitious, as for the hard worker part ..giuliani smokes her, when it comes to well respected i disagree she way too polarizing lol even the left wingers hate her guts ..you need a candidate like rudy who the blue states will be very comfortable with and the red states are just not gonna vote for her.. but her biggest problem is her geniune FAKENESS ..just like kerry .. too fake to win .. Now at least Obama is consistant, his marriage is not one of oppurtunity, he really cant get nailed down on flip flopping, he very centrist, but once again you guys will throw your real candidate into the fire ...why ?? i dont know ?? it happened with all real democrats ..Dean, nader, etc .. i told you as much as a left winger nader is i gotta respect and admire him for his REALNESS ..you guys never ever learn..Maybe its your defeatist attitudes ..look your already saying i gotta be real and obama not going to get the nomination..

Rememebr when you all laughed t me and said i was insane if i thought southerners would vote for rudy .. that rudys persoanl life would wreck his campaign, when thompson comes in giuliani will be crushed lol ..now all the dumb dems are like deer caught in the headlights saying "how is giuliani doing so well among southern conservatives" the answer is simple..you dont get the american public at all, ..instead of labeling people hicks, rednecks, bible thumpers and writing off 25% of the country makes it much more harder for you all to win.. The only reason bill clinton won ..he connected with the southern male like no other democrat did before his time.. face it your bigotry of the south is killing your party

you act as if no one supports Hillary, lol ... she has a MASSIVE backing. Everyone places their vote for who they want. She will get it cause she has more support that Obama or Rudy or Fred or Edwards or Mitt

the "establishment" democrats back hillary not the young grassroots ..Grass roots is what you need to win ..very simply put if obama pulls an upset the grassroots will be mad energized! that energy is contagious ..the establishment who all wanted hillary will then become obama supporters ..making obama a much better candidate nationally ..thats how bill clinton won in 1992 my friend.. he was the anti establishemnt democrat.. Just like rudy is the anti establishment when it comes to social issues so rudy will get the young republicans from the 18-35yr olds he polling 30 points ahead of thompson ..the older more conservative republicans and independants will definitly identify more with rudy ...And democrats in blue states will be totally comfortable with his views ...

i would rather obama, but right now it looks like hilary, there is still time. i like obama becuse he at least has his own views, unlike hilary who's views are whatever appeals to more people... which i can't stand to be honest with you

I love how the Republicans are trying to tell us if you choose Hillary we will beat you so why don't u choose someone else. Like they are doing us a favor. again i agree with the statement of whoever wins the democratic nomination will be our next president. Again i want obama as well but i think theres alot more racists than people that hate women in this country. So hillary does have a better chance of winning this election.

What i was asking was why do establishment democrats allways derail and fear the grassroot candidates like nader, or dean , etc.. everytime you guys do this to yourselves you end up losing... What we dont understand is why do you nominate the fakest flip flopping candidates???
