Crock Pot

I am all about making some homemade soup today in my new crock pot...anyone have any suggestions of websites with a lot of soup recipes?

this is the recipe I am going to use if anyone is interested:

BEEF BARLEY SOUP (FOR CROCK POT)

2 lb. beef shanks
2 c. thinly sliced carrots
1 c. sliced celery
3/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 lg. onion, sliced
1 (16 oz.) can cut up tomatoes
1/4 c. snipped parsley
1 tbsp. instant beef bouillon granules
2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. dried basil, crushed
5 c. water

Cut beef into cubes, brown on all sides, and drain well. In crockery cooker place carrot, celery, green pepper and onion. Place beef on top. Combine undrained tomatoes, barley, parsley, bouillon, salt and basil. DO NOT STIR. Cover.
Cook on low heat 10 to 12 hours. Remove bones if used. Skim any fat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

i was just gonna say make some beef barley...try cream of spinach or lobster bisque next time...both are great soups...

that chick sandra lee constantly cooks with it on her show..
ive never cooked with one though :shuffle

the only closest thing i have is a rice cooker--is that technically a crock pot though? lol

I have had one forever. My mom always made her sauces in it. But we dropped mine last week so I had to get a new one. I love it. I have made many meals in (the bbq pork/pulled pork is my favorite) but I have never made a soup from scratch let alone in the crock pot and would love to do one today.
