I've been wanting to try Degustation, too! Let me know how it is!
I went to this tapas bar called Oliva on Houston & Allen which was tight but really lively & fun. They had some interesting dishes, and they had a live band playing in the corner.

i love pylos on 7th street between 1st and Ave A.
the chef there has her own culinary school in greece. They only serve beer and wine... but the wine list (all greek) is amazing. So is the food, IMO.

i usually sit there and order 1 of each of the smaller dishes, we usually have to steal an extra table to fit all the plates.:shuffle
