Me and the wife just closed on our first house today. Relocating from my beloved BKNY to shaolin.....Wanted a yard and a detached house....tough to get in bklyn these days.

Congrats! Once my lease is up in 08, I am buying something in Long Island. Yard, and pool.

wow congrats! Thats a great neighborhood w/ awesome views of the Verrazano. I have a couple friends who live across the street from St. Johns up on Grymes.....and their places are ridic. Good luck on the new house.
