Fondue parties are the best. We tend to have a few throughout the year. Grab a bottle of wine/champagne...we do a cheese fondue for dinner and a chocolate for dessert. And you just get to pig out.

Oooh, sushi would be a good last meal of 07.... I figured I would get settled into the hotel and see how time goes. We'll all check in tomorrow, I still have to get about 20 people their badges, lol.

spanikopita (sp?) -- which came out banging! Im so excited since it was my first time making this

and these 3 diff kinds of puff things not sure what they are called.

filo dough filled with:
-feta, sundried tomatoes, and olives
-mozz and pesto
-and bacon, spinach and blue cheese


I cant wait to eat tonight and drink lots of champagne :heart :heart :rubhands

i made a leek, goatcheese and cream cheese dip which is served warm with pita chips--and its amazing :agree

also made some bagel chips topped with ricotta, hommade green onion and almond pesto and procioutto

and im making a whole wheat pasta salad with red onions, feta cheese, walnuts and a dijon vingarette

went to vespa for dinner started out with some sorpressata and olives etc ... then for an app i had bacon ! MMM a nice big fat thick cut missile of bacon in green lentils, so good, then orecchiette aglio e olio with lamb sausage and broccoli rabe and for my dinner i had braised pork shoulder with fennel and tomato concasse. for dessert i had a lil bit of pomegranate gelato. i also sampled some short ribs. we also had a few bottles of some spanish wine i forget what it was and many bottles of prosecco. everything was absolutely wonderful another great nye from my friends at vespa

Ever since I saw you post this, I was inspired to make a tray. Didn't have the time til today. This is the first time I've ever made a lasagna. I must say it did come out pretty delicious. Your basic lasagna with homemade sauce made by me and pork/veal/beef ground beef.
