Dope Chinese restaurant in the LES. Ridiculous menu that has everything from authentic chinese to american chinese to other surprises. The place itself is gorgeous with like three dining rooms, flat screens, and private rooms with sliding dorrs for parties. Drinks are also like 5 dollars. - 4 cocoanutts

I have yet to eat at a Chinese joint that has jaw dropping food, and that doesn't make me feel like total shit after.

Try this place. It has something for everyone. There was a table of Chinese Gangsters in the back and a fmaily of 27 tourists in the font, all loving their food just the same. I had the jumbo prawn with walnuts, soup dumplings and pan fried rice noodles. Yum

i'll def give it a shot. One reason why i never hit up chinese joints is b/c they usually look like shitholes, and I'm really turned off eating at half the places. This one you mentioned sounds good though.

Pigs blood is definitely a big thing overseas. grosses me out, meanwhile, I love bloody steak. lol. I was just saying to Karen how we haven't been there in a long time. We were over in the area at Vanessa's Dumpling House Friday night (still one of the best cheap eats in NYC).

they rave about their soy sauce chicken, but honestly, that's never a favorite of mine (we just got it at a midtown noodle house yesterday and it was cold/mediocre).

I guess sorta, but more like noodles, than gelatenous, imo. It was one of my faves when we had Chinese new year dinner there.

Also must get the Pan fried minced pork with salted fish. It is my favorite dish ever from there

The sauteed snow pea leaves withgarlic is great, too

Their soup dumplings are pretty good

Get the pancake w/beef/carrot/scallion for 2 bucks, it's my fav at the Dumpling House. Can't beat the 4 fried dumplings for a buck obviously too.

A few more blocks away on Mott between Grand/Broome (I think those are the crosses) is my fav vietnamese, PHO BANG!

their pho and their crispy spring rolls are the best around. I usually get the Tai or the Tai Gao (i think that's it) for Pho, one is with beef round, one is w/round and brisket. The rest are a tad too adventurous for me.
