LOS ANGELES - Lindsay Lohan is about to see dead people.

The 21-year-old actress will soon be working at a morgue as part of her punishment for misdemeanor drunken driving, her attorney, Blair Berk, told a judge Thursday.

She has also spent two months in rehabilitation and has done some community service, Berk said at a hearing on her progress toward fulfilling the terms of her plea bargain.

Her two four-hour days at the morgue are part of a court-ordered program to show drivers the real-life consequences of drinking and driving. She must also spend two days working in a hospital emergency room.

Lohan was arrested twice last year on DUI charges and pleaded guilty in August to misdemeanor drunken driving and cocaine charges. She has already served 84 minutes in jail as part of the plea deal.

Lohan was not required to appear at Thursday's hearing.

why would she see dead people? not everyone that works at a morgue sees the bodies...thats a violation of privacy and disrespectful to the deceased

that is INSANE. how the HELL is she supposed to work in an emergency room with no med school, or proper training? jesus. these "punishments" are just fucking ridiculous. i luff lindsay, but if i was a patient in the emergency room, i wouldnt want her anywhere near me, OR helping me. :disgusted

thats not punishment to me, that's like a cool field trip lol :shuffle

and she won't be viewing any bodies UNLESS it is thru a viewing pane, and that would most likely be a john/jane doe with no next of kin since she's not qualified, i'd imagine they would need express written constent. you can't by law be present in the examination unless you're licensed undertaker/pathologist so that is bs unless the laws are diff. in cali or wherever she plans on doing this.

lol i didnt think she'd be standing in on surgery or doing blood transplants..lol :keke

i just think her punishment should be more stern. she should be picking up trash on the side of the highway like the rest of people serving community service. i know theyre hoping it will be an eye-opener, but come on, lets be serious here. lol

If she was in an emergency room i would put all the perkocet and xanax in a storage room with 10 locks on them for sure.
