In the past 2 years I've been trying to get myself back to the weight I feel most comfortable with.
I tried everything under the sun and nothing worked.
I finally dropped 14 lbs and it was all due to::
1. Spending a weekend in the hospital with my mother
2. Getting a bout of food poisening the day after my mother was released from the hospital
3. My father having a heart attack the first day I was able to eat a full meal and I was stressed out and worried for 3 days straight.
I've heard drastic weight loss is bad, So I've been trying to keep as hydrated as possible, pumping a ton of vitamins and eating alot of chicken and veggies. (any other advice??)
Now to keep it off and tone up.. Half the work is already done :chuckle I am sure I will be on here with 390523908 more questions on how to do that :shuffle

i am sorry to hear about all of the things going on in your life right now....
do you have time to workout? i would suggest a little weights and cardio to tighten up.... :)
gettgin sick is the best diet ever
abotu 2 yrs ago, I got sick in DR and lost about 12 lbs in a few weeks,
but you have to keep it off by eating right and hitting the cardio,
I didnt realize how important eating right was, till I started the diet I am on
well I alwasy knew, I just could not follow it, but being forced into it, really opened by eyes,

Stress weight loss is the worst kind of weight loss.
Stress weight loss takes a toll on your body and your immune system.
But, the good thing is, it is actual weight loss. But now you really should adjust your diet accordingly.
There is some what of a shock period, which is almost like a giant refuel that depending on what you eat, will have you putting on weight.
So best thing to do now is to eat healthy so you don't put on the bad weight.
You are probably dehydrated too, I am guessing. If that is the case, you will put some of that weight back on at some point, but, get into the gym, and eat right, and you shouldn't have a problem getting right back to where you wanna be.

I've heard that drastic weight loss is not good and my biggest concern was benig dehydrated and puttin stress on my kidneys..
but I've been pumping myself full of water and eating right..
Staying away from the bad stuff.

Congrats on the weight loss, but sorry to hear about the family stuff, hope it all works out :heart
Dramatic weight loss is definitely no good, and the vitamins are a good idea. I'm really in no shape to be giving diet advice right now since I have been slacking big time, but chicken and vegs is definitely a good way to go.. protein, fruits, vegs.. and avoiding sweets, carbs. Easier said than done though lol! Good luck :)

80% diet 20% cardio
the key really is the frequency of the meals. most people can't eat OFTEN enough to keep the metabolism going.
its easy to say, yea 5 or 6 small healthy meals, another to execute it in a real worl setting

I'm sorry about all your troubles fifi :licktear
But crazyray is right. Its all about what goes in your body. I'm about 20 lbs away from comfortable and 30 away from ideal :shuffle I've changed my diet completely and now I'm working out 4 days/week.
Its crazy how weight can creep up, but how stubborn it could be to shed :tantrum
Good luck with maintaining your goal weight :dance

Eat extremely clean and if you can get to the gym @ least 4x a week, and you should be golden. :)

Best I've ever looked was after a bout of food poisoning and after getting my jaw wired shut for 6 weeks.
Why can't I just get served up some raw chicken???
J/K....kinda
