I get anxiety attacks....out of the blue too. Xanax takes care of it though, so I have been pretty good.

I had more of anxiety attacks. learn how to breath through it and talk about things that really bother you in your life with your friends and close ones. it really helps. it's a horrible feeling i agree. but you learn why you get them and how to control them and you'll be free of em.

I get them sometimes.

woo

breathing is big but sometimes it isn't enough. if i am home thank god i can curl in fetal position and lie in bed frozen.... but breathing deep

but i dont go calling my friends and family- i have a therapist. there are some times throughout the year i can be overbearing and i'd rather pay a professional to make sense of it. also, if i keep going to the same person they know the whole deal.

i see him like once a month now- there was a point in time i was seeing him 2x a week lol :yourcrazy. so i can say i had positive results i the long run. took a few years tho :lifting

xanax for absolute emergencies. like recently one of my lifelong best friends died suddenly and his mom didn't fund $ for cemetery services so i was losing my mind amidst helping raising money to lay him to rest. yeah... i took some xanax for that.,, once i realized i was driving my friends crazy

anyone who knew me for the past few years- and gives me the time of day these days totally sees how much i've unwound. i think i matured too late and too slowly :hitting

bottom line: do healthy things as much as possible. but if ur doing the same thing like working out too much that's not healthy.

I started getting them a few years ago with my last job...the first one I had I couldn't breathe and went into hysteria while I was getting ready for work....my parents almost brought me to the hospital not knowing what was wrong...I finally snapped out of it maybe an hour later :disgusted

I hadn't had a huge attack after that till a few months ago....I started getting them BAD and on the regular while things were extrememly out of place in my life....had another attack in Miami (thank god eleni and dmitry were there :keke) but now only get bad anxiety from time to time...not a full attack

I seem to get them at night when im trying to go to sleep. I start thinking that something bad is going to happen to me, and all the sudden i cant breathe, swallow, cant sit still, heart starts racing, i get dizzy i feel like im gonna faint. u just gotta learn to calm yourself down, by thinking about good things.
they suck alot. but i cant take xanex every time i get one, i will become addicted lol

I have anxiety attacks where it feels like someone is sitting on my chest. It's terrible. I have xanax for that but I really dont wanna be on xanax unless it's before bed and I need to sleep. I have learned to cope with my stress/anxiety by different methods. A glass of wine normally does the trick. LLLOL I figure that's a lot better than taking a pill.

Ugh they are horrible, I've had them since I was little I remember not being able to catch my breath but now I know what was wrong, get really bad spurts of anxiety like once or twice a year depending on what is going on...

got some xanax for my plane ride, took it for the first time this past weekend, worked well... took only a 0.25mg pill, relaxed me without making me pass out lasted for a few hrs, def wouldn't take it all the time, it just masks the issues doesn't solve them

I get anxiety now more then the massive attacks, where my heart goes nuts, I feel all weird ect. When I get a full on attack I am done for a few hrs, and I even feel strange the next day. My heart still has some issues of its own but the anxiety just add's to it.

I take the .25mg pills, usually break them in half and eat about 2 whole pills through out the day sometimes more sometimes less.

One of my employees gets them right before her period. Every month she goes through it. It varies from month to month. Sometimes she only gets one and other times alot of them. She was on meds for awhile but felt she could handle them on her own. She's a trooper. I don't know how you all go through it. Its SCARY to watch someone have them.

my boy was in the towers when it got hit since then he has them awful, tony saprano afwul.

i never had them, tho alot of it is your own mind working against you. breath and realize that most of the times its your mind making the sitaution 100 time bigger than it is, or alot of times its about association you can be someone doing something and it will get triggered just gotta realize whatver your associating the nervousness is not there right at that moment but only in your head.

That's 100% true. When I worked at my other job I'd cry every single day at work and I couldnt sleep. On the way to work I'd get anxiety really really bad. I switched to where I am at now and my anxiety is so much better.

I never had one in public luckily. It must make matters a lot worse because you're trying to deal with whatever is going on in your head as well as worrying about what other people are going to think of you.

I get them very bad. I have been rushed to the ER at my own request because I was convinced I was having a heart attack. Once I got there, it was gone but it is the worst feeling in the world. My heartrate was literally over 170 and I felt it beating in my back. I was sweating, I couldnt swallow and my head felt detached from my body. I get mini episodes now where I feel these horrible out of body experience, a huge disconnection from reality. I do Yoga and it helps tremendously, as does doing a 4 count breath when you feel it coming on. Breathe in for 4, hold for for, exhale for 4, and hold for four. I now take Paxil and wont dare leave my house without Xanax.

I had very bad panic attacks, untreated when I was younger. I always knew thats what I suffered. I had a difficult childhood growing up, so I had extremely bad panic attacks. In 2006 I saw a doctor for it and she treated me. I was first on Zoloft for anxiety then she put me on Cymbalta for major depressive disorder or clinical depression. Both helped a lot. I was on it for a year. In 2007, I saw a psychiatrist and that helped a lot.

I feel pretty good now. No problems, I feel great to have been treated and to understand what I had been going through for years and years.

I hate Panic Attacks & I hate Anxiety :disappoin :disgusted :wallbang :pullhair

I take Xanax everyday...And I won't leave home without it!

I got my 1st Panic Attack a few years ago.
I tried to deal with it for about 3 hours & couldn't control it, so I called my brother & he took me to the hospital.

I felt much better when I got there...It's all in the mind.
Took a few tests & everything was normal...Thank god!

Had one out of the blue at the gym on Sunday...the one place that I enjoy going to and I get a panic attack. I was doing cardio, then about 4 minutes in my heart rate went from 73 to 37 (thats when I knew something was up) then shot up to 67 and then 237...I got off the machine and drank some water. Had a Horrible work out after that, I stayed because I needed to try and work through it and talk myself out of it.

I was going on like 16 or so hrs of no xanax and I usually take some every 8-10 hrs a day.

I had a very bad panic attack at the gym when I was living in Miami.

Not a good feeling at all...But I finished my workout.

Thank god it was early in the AM & only a few people there.
My BF (At the time) had to stay with me at home until my xanax kicked in & I felt better.

A stick will do that..lol..I think I would be out for at least 20hrs if I took a stick or the equivalent to that.

I stay away from any sort of strong stimulant that is going to make me more awake cause I know the outcome and my night will be ruined.
