Do you think jogging a mile is enough? Or is there something else you should do that's better? I think I haven't been loose/warm enough the last few times I did sprints.

i jog a quarter-mile stretch and then do half speed 10 yard, 20 yard sprint then 3/4ths speed 30 yard and 40 yard and after that begin my full speed sprints

i think you should save energy for the springs because they are more explosive then jogging. i would do like metfan said, do a light jog for a little bit to get your body warmed up, then i would right into the sprinting

Last time I ran 1/4 and thought that would be enough (i was really just lazy to warm up more). Pulled my quad on the 1st sprint.
The time before that I ran 1/2 mile and was mostly fine though really sore after. Maybe 3/4 mile will be a good warmup. Or 1/2 mile and 5 sprints at half speed.

light jog 1/2 mile
stretch/mobilty excercises (concentration on your hip flexors)
then sprint away....
