no i stopped dying my hair. it ruins it & makes it straw-like. i can deal w/ 2 gray hairs rather than dye.

oh that sucks. i'm a firm believer that with weekly hair treatments you can dye your hair, high light do whatever and they'll be fine.

who wants to look 5 or 10 years older than they are? :yourcrazy

I would just pluck out the 2 hairs myself. But i dont see a problem covering up a larger amount of grays with color.

so just cut them with a scissor.

:agree at first that seems practical.

imagine like 80 hairs later....

there are dyes u can apply with a mascara wand sold in "kits".. just take a regular hairdye and a toothbrush lol. no fret with altering your natural hair.

just be u i agree that if you color- conditioning is key but i have gone thru years where i did not want to deal with it. i know what goil means here.
i fell off the wagon 2 months ago.. but my oh my dyed hair is so much thicker :cloud9

How long does dye from a good salon keep the gray hair from coming back?

Like 6-8 weeks?

Im not talking about the stuff you buy in a CVS pharmacy. Im talking about a professional using high quality producrt.

yeah i go to a beauty supply distributors (cater to salons) for my hair dye needs. i use a much weaker peroxide and i mix my own colors instead of the company doing it for me.

i seen the kits in there actually-it is available for hairdressers to buy. the hairdresser mixes the actual color. but most hairdressers dye the whole head anyways.

i wish i could say how long it covers up greys for. that is where i gotta let someone else answer. :shuffle perhaps a particular brand could be advised.

Pluck them and make sure you take vitamins to prevent more gray hairs

This has been a service announcement, in the event of an emergency, your brain would have blown up.
