i've been riding the stationary bike that we have @ my house for the last few days...
started off on the first day only doing 10 mins (2 miles)....now i've moved on up to 15 mins (3 miles) im sure ill be up to 20 mins etc.. soon :agree
....and this is coming from me, someone who hasnt "technically" done any cardio in years!
(aside from the occasional, but not constant, swimming :))

Bike accidents can really mess you up. Chances are very slim though as long as your riding on the sidewalk and not with the cars.
I HATE bikers that ride with the cars.

well... what happens when theres no sidewalk?

i used to ride my road bike from scarsdale to chappaqua on the regular. hands down the best exercise because it puts no stress on joints. i rode for a little while earlier this summer but could never get into the groove
