Went to this awesome restaurant yesterday in Alphabet City. There are 2 of them almost across the street, we went to the one that's more loungy and dark. It has that dark but cozy atmosphere, pretty small, with candles, black with red velvet is the color scheme, nice atmosphere!

This is mainly a cheese and chocolate fondue restaurant. We ordered the goat cheese and mushroom appetizer, it was just delicious!! we had to order another one, i highly recommend this appetizer. It comes on a toaster bread with goat cheese and delicious mushrooms.

As for fondue we opted for the 4 italian cheese fondue. the cheeses were mozzarella, ricotta, provologne, and parmesian (sp?) and this to die for cheese fondue came with pcs of toast, potatoes, veggies and fruits. After that we had a chocolate fondue, we decided to get two in one, one side was white chocolate with raspberry flavor and dark chocolate with baileys, and the two chocolate fondues were divided by a pound cake!! This dessert fondue came with fruits, pcs of brownies and pcs of marble pound cake :spitfall.

Oh and the sparklin fruity champagne that they bring in a huge beautiful metallic bowl is bananas!! we gots tipsyyyy lol I forget which type we had, at first we had the mildest one and the we asked for the strongest one. Cant seem to remember the names.

Great place, anyone else been?

There is a Bourgeois Pig Cafe in Chicago (Lincoln Park), not sure if it has any relation but this one is always packed, near DePaul Univ., and it was featured on Rachel Ray's show. Never been though.
