no bueno. I'm really hurt & i still dont know what went wrong. I believe my height was def an issue. It didnt help that in group judging I had to stand next to a girl that was 5'11 barefoot, & im 5'8 with my heels on. Guess it just wasn't my night, that's all. This week I'm taking a break at the gym. I'm only gonna be doing abs & running for an hour every day. & eating carbs. Next week, I'll come back full force. I need a break (& some sleep). Best thing is, I'm in the best shape ever & I'm really excited about that:) I dont really have pix yet, but you can see some pix I took in my competition bikini 2 weeks before the show here:

LMAO! What are the Odds!!! :lol It's just your luck too. Don't do it. Once it hits your lips it's so good. The deliciousness will pull you to the dark side & you've been really good with your diet:)

Thanks baby. I worked really hard. Every last drop of sweat was worth it. I worked that stage saturday like a stripper works a pole. FOr once in my life, I was more confident in my swimsuit than my gown. I was so amped to go out there & show my work off.

I'm still gonna lift. It's just some extra cardio. The salsa classes I've been taking helped tighten up my legs alot. Do you wanna be my dance partner? We can be tango champions & they can introduce you as Ivan Drago....OLE!

I've never danced salsa, only eaten it :) I'll be your partner if you don't mind me stepping the shit out of your toes for the first couple of weeks:agree

I know, but I'm telling you, I hadnt tried one up until 2 years ago, believe me, cheesesteak in any form is like quicksand.....it will suck you in & leave you without a fighting chance. I used to get cheesesteak wraps on whole wheat. It wasnt as many carbs, but unfortunately the calories were still there. And besides, you want to enjoy your first cheesesteak in it's original form, the way God intended, with a badass roll.....

but i have a lotta self-control :agree unless there's fries in front of me hahah :shuffle but nah, even usually when theyre around too :teeth and trust me, its difficult b/c my skinny brother eats mcdonalds, taco bell, checkers, subway, quiznos and all that shit like everyday almost haha damn him and his skinnyness ! :yousuck

thats ok hun u got a great body out of it if u like the competition u should look into like womans fitness or figure compation u def got the build just gotta stick with the diet and look at it like this u accomplished so much so far ur closer then u ever were u kno keep it up girl

I know. I'm thinking about figure, but my best friend does it & i def don't want to look that ripped. Do fitness girls need to be more developed or is the only difference the dance routine. I definitely have the willpower & discipline, just gotta decide if & when I want to do it. Thanks for the sweet words...

they tend to be more ripped and muscles pop out more.....and the dance routine is real important. strength shown in a dance routine is a bonus as well.

I like the dance routine. One of my goals is to gain enough upper body strength to hold myself up like they do. I'd def get a trainer if I was doing one of these competitions. A whole 'nother ball game...

yea i would def get a trainer for that. always helps alot when u got someone inputting good ideas. i had a trainer train me 2x a week on hitting poses right and evening routine. it helps sooo much. u should do it jerz!:agree

Now you've got my mind racing. I love competing. I'm not afraid, i just know that i'm looking at a little bit of a struggle & the negativity alot of people are gonna come out with b/c for me it's uncharted territory. Beauty pageants are one thing. Fitness shows are like the olympics of sick bodies. I'm gonna think about it this weekend. I wouldn't know where to start....

The dance/pose routine, you just gotta find someone who's experienced in that and can show you the RIGHT way to do them. I'am sure your fitness comp friend can show you some things. As far as the body looking all ripped, you know its just comes down to your diet/cardio. You got muscle, now you just gotta peel away to a low low bf%. I know you can definitely do it. It'll test your will power for sure.

She's one of the people I'm afraid is gonna get negative on my ass. It might make her feel like i'm intruding on her territory. Guess i'm gonna try & get the bf down, continue with my routine & in a few months get a trainer....

bah, i wouldnt worry about that. i would have someone experienced monitor you every two weeks so they can adjust your diet as the comp gets closer, especially the last week before the comp when you gotta play around with the water/carb intake to peak for show time. it would be your first comp and its best if you did it with someone helping you all the way through. if shes your friend, she should be happy and help you out all the way. you can always ask me questions as far as diet/workout/cardio is concerned. i wouldnt even know where to start with a posing routine for fitness :shuffle .

Thank you :) My one friend is a trainer & he's worked with male bodybuilders but I dont know if he knows about female figure stuff. If it's not beauty pageant swimsuit posing, I'm so lost.

if he's trained females for fitness comps, he should be able to help ya for sure. its important you get someone that knows their stuff and has trained other people for their routines:agree there are plenty of trainers who have their own websites and you can google them to see if there is anyone by you.
