i really shouldn't answer this but I shop at Key Food, Pathmark, Trade Fair and Best Yet Market depending on whose circulars I like. I tend to go 3 times a week and specifically target the sales. For Pmark and Key, I usually will wait until Wednesday nightwhen i get the flyers that are good as of Friday to see if I'm better of going Thursday or waiting until Friday. HOLLER oh and very rarely I also go to Stop and Shop but their sales suck.
ASTORIA PEEPS, you gotta check out Best Yet on 37th St and 20th/19th Ave.

I get most of my protein from BJ's. Raw frozen shrimp, purdue short cuts, ground turkey, skirt steak. I get most of my other food from whole foods including ALL fruits and veggies. There is a spot called Fairway near me that's pretty good as well. I go to stop n shop for quick things when I don't wanna drive a little further or wanna do big shopping. I don't really shop for sales but I do tend to stock up on things I use when I catch them on sale. I always like to have a full pantry and freezer.
Usually Stop n Shop. I dont like it tho lol

is BJs better then Costco?
I live in nassau so the costco near me is on old country road and always packed. I have been going to bj's for 3 or 4 years now and it's a lot quicker. I get impatient in places like that. As far as products, costco seems to have a little more but also a lot of shit i don't care about like electronics and clothes. I get a ton of sundries at bjs as well. paper plates, cups, water, toothpaste, paper towels, deodorant, shit like that. I like stocking up and not having to worry about that type of shit for many months.

I shop at Food Dynasty or Pathmark but I DO NOT buy my meats from them!
I go to this place called B & A Pork Store on 13th ave.
Pathmark has some great deals on can goods & other stuff.
And I love having that lil key chain savings card :heart
My roommate & I spend about $300 a month (Just in Pathmark) and with the lil card we always save over $100 :yipee
