I trained there a few times, they have a good thing going.

As far as cardio, it doesn't matter. Nothing will ever prepare you for the torture you will soon induce. Just get in there and do it.

hey jess if you end up going this weekend .. find out how much it is for the gear needed ... thats the main thing besides work thats holding me back ... dropping 4-500 at once on fees and gear to start is a little much

i did a little research on their prices..
first class is free--they recommend the beginners ONLY class if you're doing muay thai. for boxing you can do ther beginners/int class.
then for a month--you can pay a per class rate of $30 for a trial period...then after that you can either sign up for a year at $180/class or $100 activation fee and $30/class.

gear isnt too expensive though...i will look into it and let you know.......and then right after..kick your ass :agree

I would have to agree with that, I wasn't there during too many regular classes but I did notice a little bit of favortism and tiers of authority

change of plans, im going to take a spin class sat thats at the same time as the boxing class this week, so i decided to up my cardio these next few weeks, and learn a few basics before i start with someone who is already training. i wont be around 4th of july weekend to take the class sat--so when i start training, i want to be consistent. i heard first hand from a few people who ahve trained there that even the beginner class is INTENSE, and i just want to be prepared.

i will keep you posted though :agree

neglia is a nut. his place is actually located next door to my fathers business in Brooklyn for the last 15 years. hes a little well. um.... ya....... def.

he trians his guys like they are cobra kai, but are they good. ehhh. thats fit to be seen hes got this killer mentaility he tries to instill in his fighters, but usually the ones wwho want to be killers wind up getting killed by the more calm relaxed fighters. thats a general statement im sure you know theres many accpetions to that rule.

very cool man, good luck on your training and your career!
