so i put this in the health forum (i hope thats right) because im going to a doctor for the procedure so it made sence hah...

im gettin a tattoo i did on myself removed today... my X has a tat gun and i was about a bottle of goose in and decided to have the bright idea of tattooin a bible scripture UPSIDE DOWN on my left upper thigh... (stupid yes i already know... but ya live n u learn) and after i woke up n realized wat i did i got it covered with the outline of a flower.. which i did not like either... sooooo i am gettin it removed today... im VERY nervous bc i know it goin to HURT like a bitch and its going to swell up to boot...

im gunna post pics later on today or tomm (when i get time) so u can all see wat it looks like bc i know a bunch of u had questions about the wrecking balm cream (which isnt as invasive but doesnt have such good results from wat i hear) and if all goes well ill leave the Doctors information in case u are interested.. he also does lazer HAIR removal which i have done and it comes out GREAT!!

wish me luck:heythere

it all depends on the colors . certain colors on certain skin types will not come out totally.. the procedure hurts like a muther my ex had it done she said it felt like hot lava being poured on her skin.. so enjoy it.

My friend is an estetician (sp?) in westbury and she is mobbed with this treatment. It's mostly women getting their tramp stamps removed.

No way. I don't like where it is or how big it is (and it's not even that big).
Getting it covered up would make it HUGE

I'll deal with the pain and $$.

first they put numbing cream
http://nightclubcity.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=621&pictureid=8677

then they cool it off... (the cooling machine is the BEST, as long as they cool ur skin u dont really feel the lazer as much as everyone says you do)

ok so now its really swollen and its a bunch of blisters (normal) .. but they gave me a special cream that heals it faster and once the blisters r gone and its starting to heal up ill post a pic of that... like i said before its going to take 6 sessions so it might not seem like it got lighter but to ME it DEFINITELY did... the black came off alot easier then the red... ill keep posting pics before and after the appointments to keep u all updated..

no i did the red words under the flower, the flower a friend who is a new artist started on me just so i didnt have 2 look at the scribble... but i didnt want 2 keep a big ass flower for no reason on my leg soooo i am gettin the lazer.. i DO see a difference but its not alot bc its still healing. Once it heals more i should see it even more faded... the pain during is really not as bad as everyone says, i think the pain and discomfort AFTER is worse... its just annoying when it blisters up... i would suggest doin it come fall/winter if its in a noticeable place bc i doubt u want this shown in ur bathing suite haha

oh and 4 weeks or untill its healed enough till next session... im a nut and i went back yesterday n got some lazer hair removal (as if the pain on my leg wasnt enough for 1 week)

I have never seen this done or had any friends do it...so to me this looks like you are burning the skin to scab over and cover the tattoo.... is that right??

Demz
07-08-2009, 10:54 PM
woo yea the lil white things turned into small blisters... the ink is pushed out during the healing process i believe... thats from wat i understand how it works..

i didnt post the pics of how bad the blisters actually got bc it REALLY gross and i didnt want 2 freak u guys out... PM me if u realllllllllllllllly wanna see how bad it is lol

yes jess i did the red stuff

and infamous no i retired from my tatt carrer after i did that 2 myself :keke... i actually helped my X color in 1 of his (no i didnt mess his up bc it was like coloring in the lines haha

alter... i didnt want the flower at all.. it was just to cover up the initial tat but that wasnt even done the way i wanted it soooo yea lol.. im not gunna live the rest of my life with a pointless tat... i have the means and the connection to a good trusted doctor sooo why not get it removed... if all goes well i was thinkin of removing a few more n starting the canvas from scratch :lostit

heres from a site i found some info about the blisters..

"What should I expect after Laser Tattoo Removal?
The treatment area will be swollen, red and very tender. It is really like a burn. Blisters may form. Do not pick at the skin, let it heal naturally. You will ice it down for the first 24 hours and thereafter for comfort. It will crust up and eventually fall off. In the months ahead your body will dispose of the cracked ink by its normal waste disposal protocol."

" Most patients will experience some form of blistering with any properly executed laser tattoo removal treatment. It is your body responding to the injury by the laser. One of the good things about blistering with tattoo removal is that is not very deep in the skin and should not cause scarring. However, these blisters can get fairly large including covering the entire area treated by the laser. Don't worry, these blisters heal up beautifully and it will seem like you never had them. Most blistering is gone in one week although occasionally it can last up to two weeks. Most patients will keep them covered if they are in area that may be uncomfortable when wearing clothes (for example, on the waist where your pants button or on your foot where you wear shoes and socks). The blisters will heal up well on their own so just sit back and let your body do the work for you.
Here are a few things that may increase your risk for blistering:
1. Lighter skin
2. Bright, colorful tattoos- tattoos with lighter colors require the use of a 532nm wavelength laser which tends to blister more.
3. First treatment- During your first laser tattoo removal treatment, you have more ink than you will during your second, third, etc. Since you have more ink, there is slightly more side effects to the tattoo removal treatment.

Again, don't worry too much about blistering, just expect that it will happen and know that it will heal up nicely. Sometimes you even see your tattoo color come out with the blistering which is a very good thing. "

I give you props for taking all the shit people are giving about what you did for the sake of the NCC community. I waited till I was 26 and I knew exactly what I wanted and I don't think I will regret 40 years from now. Unfortunately, you can't do anything with the props that I gave you, you can't even trade them for money or clothing but I still give you props. Thanks for all the info Demz!
