I've been doing 6 days a week for about 5 years now. Only 4 days of the 6 are full weights / cardio. 1 day is just weights (legs day) and 1 day is primarily cardio with a few weight exercises thrown in for 3-day-a-week muscle groups (forearms, calves, abs).

I'm not sure if this is over training?

i used to train 7 days a week, but it didnt feel like i was over training because i gave each muscle group proper rest and my diet was perfect. i was in the best shape of my life. now, I go 5 days a week or so....usually 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day. I will typically both lift and do cardio 4 days and just cardio (maybe abs) the 5th day.

4 Days: 3 on 1 off 1 on 2 off. Everyday I do some cardio as well. I have been thinking about going 5 but 4 seems to be working fine for me and I am making progress.

6 or 7 days a week all year round IMO is over kill.

Usually 6 days a week I'm doing something or 5 days and 2 intensive weekend workouts. weights, cardio, mma its such a better mix, i'm in such better shape then just going to the gym.

weights: 4 days on, 1 day off
cardio: 6 days a week

i try to make the 1 cardio rest day and the 1 weight rest day fall on the same day, but it doesn't always work out.... :shrugger

i agree with this, but some people enjoy that particular style of working out so I cant hate or judge.

yeah a lot of people like it i enjoy the skill of power tho, i look at it more as practicing my strength rather than working out "dumb muscle"

stand up 3-4 times a week
jits 2 times a week
bikram 1 day a week
gym (weights) 2-3 days a week
gym (cardio) at least 4 days a week

Usually 4 days of my week involve training twice a day.
