great job man.

I can hardly keep my eyes open and to think its still another 11.7 miles to complete the marathon,at least increasing by a mile or so each week makes it much easier

hahahaha, now your seeing why I told you that you should train for the 26-27 miles. Not to get you discouraged but its gunna get nasty once you get to the 15+ miles. Keep up the training, stay hydrated and carb up before the long runs, your going to need it.

Congrats on the progress.

I've never done anything close to a marathon. My goal for next spring is to run the Long Island Half Marathon. But from my experience in 10-15k runs that I compete in, I usually pace about 20-30 seconds better per mile on race day. My first 15k, I had never even been able to complete it. The most I did was about 13k. That race day the people running and cheering kept me going. The adrenaline rush of all the people running with you is a huge motivation.
