Rochelle, pk nj won't allow its residents to park in the street from 3 to 7am. If you have guests staying over you must call in the car to the police station so they dont ticket it. Well the house im currently living in is a 2 family house. And has a garage that only holds............wait for it............1 CAR! So the owner parks there. And after calling in my car to the police for the past 3-4 months, a cop finally came to the door yesterday & said find some parking lot to park in, you can no longer park in the street. So i parked in the school lot across the street to find a note on my car at 7am that said "no parking in school lot over nite". YES it was spelled nite. Great education these kids must be getting if their educators have such excellent spelling skills. So now where the hell am i supposed to park? :grumpy

People, make sure you are fully aware of the parking situation when you move somewhere or else you will be screwed. That is my psa for today

Sounds like a shitty situation. good luck with all that.

If there is a garage there must be a driveway, ask the owner to let you park in the driveway over night and you can put it in the street every morning. I would honestly start looking for a new place in the meantime. haha

In a year in JC I spent more in parking tickets then I did the rest of my life combined, they had double alternate side of the street parking and the meter maids were such fucking nazis one day my gf's windows got smashed in and they jacked her car stereo and as we're finishing writing out a report with another cop the hooker came along and wrote out a ticket. It's really just revenue generation, meter maids are fucking worthless human beings.

I saw a meter maid do the same thing to a car a couple of weeks ago when I was walking my dog in the morning. I said to her how about adding insult to injury.

ro, this happened to me once when i visited a friend in Wood-ridge. i had to park my car in fuckin lodi bc after calling the police in woodridge they werent going to let me keep my car there! what is wronggg with these towns & the people running them? the lodi police were cool though.

its like a damn curfew, you need to call the police if youre having visitors to your own house? get the fuck outta here.

most towns in bergen county have laws like this. MY 'rents are in Hasbrouck Heights and its the same thing. They claim it's easier to spot people casing houses and reduce break-in's to cars (if they aren't on the street they can't get broken into)

i had that problem when i lived in hasbrouck heights. There was no street parking, and I lived in a garden apartment where i SHOULD have always had plenty of parking except by the time i used to roll in sometimes it would be mad late and there would be no parking spots left. So i would end up having to pull my truck in behind the fucken dumpster area on those nights, (illegally) .... i moved within the year.
