that was like the largest real estate transaction in ever...and it wasnt that long ago. they have been trying some real douchey tactics to get rent controlled people to move out so they can charge there ridiculously high rates. needless to say, it didnt work. whole operation was doomed from the start

I know a bunch of people that lived there. Good space, but overpriced and looked like giant dorm suites to me.

my buddy moved out last year, was a pretty small place for a shitton of $$ IMO

they wanted to make them into luxury apts but couldnt get the people out i think. someone fucked up, they must have lost a disgusting amount of loot on that deal.
