So do you guys even use travel agents anymore? Or do you book all your vacations online?

I actually just used a travel agent (DeviousVix) for the first time EVER and found that I PAYED LESS than what I would have on the internet and now I don't have to worry about confirming, etc.

being a travel agent now is very competetive with the Internet-we are updating our system that when i quote you-i will also tell you my competions prices compared to mine! im waiting for our new system!

but till then i do match and try to compare rates! i always try to discount if i can :)

I look online and then see what travel agents have, honeymoon booked with a travel agent...if want to do activities and crap then I think you're better off most of the time using an agent, better deals.

I wish I knew you were a travel agent vix I would have used you for my honeymoon!

I havent used a travel agent in about 2 years....Maybe longer..I can't seem to find a good agent that gets me exactly what I need and at the price I'd like to pay! I love Expedia.com

last few vacations, ive compared prices from internet & travel agents.. and always went with the travel agent. they were cheaper, plus they take care of your transfers from airport - hotel.. and u get all sorts of goodies. my travel agent always sends us a basket of treats and a bottle of wine & its in our room waiting for us when we get there. i think only time i'll use internet, is when im staying at a family member/friends house, cause i wont have to book a hotel.

i actually blocked off 2 weeks in the month of March-i can't wait for them to let us all know when the WMC will be taken place! B/c then we will all pay outrageous flight prices! as 4 hotels-i can always price various hotels with everyones budget!

Jet Blue is easy as 1-2-3
but sometimes other carriers are cheaper then them!

I usually check prices through internet, calling the hotel and than checking with the travel agent and see what is the best deal!!!! For about 5 years been planning every trip my friends and I went on i'm the lil coordinator.
