AS for the stuffing I am sure there are links on this website, but you gotta bake it in the turkey, thats just tradition, coems out the best when you make it that way.

I'm going to try and make sweet potatoes for Thanksgiving this year as well as that Gnocchi dish!!
I'm also looking for a recipe for some delish desert that isn't TOO high in fat/calories (but is still yummy!)
I wish I knew how to cook a turkey and give you advice Diamond, but alas, I'm clueless. :teeth

Well for the Turkey my advice if you are cooking it in the oven is to stuff it with the stuffing after you clean the gizards and neck out(which don't worry, should just be in a bag inside the turkey, DO NOT throw away the gizards, you can boil them and chop off meat to throw in gravy). Make you stuffing mixture which can be the bread, seasoning, carrots, celery, chestnuts, raisins, whatever you want, buy something at the store. For the actual Turkey you can put Thyme sprigs under the skin as well as some oregano and salt and pepper. First take Olive Oil and rub the outside of the turkey and then put a good amount of Kosher salt and Pepper on the outside massaging it in. Also put thyme leaves and whatever herbs you like on the outside, maybe even a little lemon juice underneath the skin as well. The Olive Oil will help make the skin nice crispy. Make sure you baste it a lot while cooking and use the drippings for the gravy when the turkey is done. Bake at 375 and I would say if its a 22 lb turkey it will probably take 4-5 hours. Just get one of those little things thats already in the turkey that pops up when its done. Any other questions just ask me.:D

Yea the deep fried Turkey that I had for thanksgiving years ago was probably one of the best. We fried it in Peanut Oil and I was amazed how crispy the skin came out and the meat was perfectly juicy and cooked, didn't dry out or anything. Def recommend if you can do it.
