i heard in class today that due to the popularity of atkins and the south beach diet that meat prices have gone up as high as 17% across the country. thats pretty crazy, everyone is on this shit and atkins pretty right before his ideas finally caught on. this diet has been around for yearssssssss, since our parents were young. they did say when he died he was healthy, heart wise anyway/cholesterol.

Yea there is some lady at my school who has been on atkins for atleast 30 years or something like that. So its def been around for a while. As for meat prices, sucks they are rising so much and I am sure the whole Mad Cow Disease is helping with that inflation as well.

lobster is rediculous as well were doing a lobster feast at my school dec 1 prices are insane... we'll still make moeny but shit if they wwere like last yr we'd be rollin in money
