What exercises should I do for the lower 2? I just cant get them in. I think drinking alcohol has to do a lot with it.

yeah, sometimes its not really important how many or how quick you do your cruches as long as your squeeze them ie flex them in the process. I believe the abs are fast twitch muscles and anything you don't hit in the first 45 seconds doesnt have as much of an effect, I may have this backwards though.

cardio and diet .. its all fat storage, all the leg raises in the world will do you shit if youre not running a calorie deficit and burning fat.

I feel that if you're doing more than 25 reps per set fo abs you're doing it wrong. If you're doing it slow-enough and concentrated you shouldn't be able to do 50.

for the majority of people fat deposits covering the abdomen are the last to go....hence the elusive 6 pack....

I have always hated running, especially since i get shin splints but as of late i havent been getting them...the only way i get through a good workout on the treadmill is with headphones on with the right music...without the right music its boring as helllll ..and if u set it to a program rather than manually controlling the speed/incline it goes by alot faster, for me anyways

You have to make sure to go slow and squeeze. Fifty reps seems more like cardio, lol.

u should treat ur abs like any other muscle on your body... e.g. do you do sets of 50 when u bench? no. throw some light resistance on there and drop ur sets down to a range of 10-25 and ur ab muscles, like everything else, will grow. that's step 1.

step 2 is to get that layer of fat outta the way so u can see the ab muscles coming thru. that's ALLLLLLLLLLLLL diet kid.

You don't have to treat abs like every other muscle because they do not consist of skeletal muscle like all of your other parts; they consist of soft muscle tissue. For this reason you can work abs every day. Girls usually go for 50 reps because they want to tone, unlike guys who usually want bulging abs.

Removing the layer of fat has a lot to do with diet, but it also has a lot to do with cardio.

weight training helps too .. 1lb muscle = 50 calories that your body burns at rest.

Six packs are indirect, ab exercises to help to define them, but its all body fat percentage.

To lower body fat, you gotta build muscle, eat right, and do cardio.

all of those exercises are great.. and yes alcohol does have some towith it..alot of it all sugar/carbs.. However, what really helps those cuts is cardio, cardio, cardio...

You can burn more fat by walking on an incline then actually running. Your overall calories will be more expended with running but fat is burned at a slower rate of speed over a longer period of time.

The higher intensity, the more carbs are used as fuel instead of fat.

I think you shouldn't be able to do more than 30 crunches, especially on the incline sit-up bench. If you go slow and crunch your abs together really hard it is very tough to go over 20 reps. This goes for reverse crunches and hanging leg raises as well.

During the weekend I just drink a lot of water and eat a very low amount of calories (under 900-1000). I have like 2 meals on Saturday (very low-carb high protein, low calorie) early in the day. When its time to drink....my stomach is empty and I get drunk faster. Since your food calories are low you dont have to worry too much about taking in too many calories. Cheers!
