i never noticed it cuz i usually have headphones on...a gym should be like the library...all business.

The single handles on the cable crossover at my gym make the most annoying shrill squeal!! It sounds like someone is try to kill a farm animal when you use it...

i agree 1000% i always have my headphones too. i go to the gym to work out not to make friends and stand around and look at the machines. (which btw are all brand new so they dont squeak)

thats my biggest gripe! I'm on call for a radio and TV station as a technician and even still both of them know there are about 2 hours a day that i'm unavailble when i'm at the gym. Pager and cell phone both are sitting in my car unless i'm expecting an URGENT phone call or something, and even then its short as it can be. I dont get why you would want to sit in a gym and talk on ur phone just to bullshit...liek wouldnt u rather do it while ur drivin back home or something? just never made sense to me
