View Full Version : Roney for the WMC
For those gym rats that are going to be staying at the Roney for the WMC, they have a pretty nice gym(for a hotel).
I think its actually open to the public, so its got all the necesseties.
Now I really dont plan on spending too much time there since it is afterall a vacation, but Ill defintitley hit it up for one or two quick workouts:D

I was actually wondering if there were any gyms in the area of where the hotels are. Even though its going to be a mini vaction, I still got to hit the gym 2 or 3 times.
If your not staying at the Roney, there is also a great gym right by Lincoln Rd.
I went there last year and it was very cheap and has everything you need.
There's also a Crunch on Washington, but its very expensive for a day pass.

All I need is some free weights and a bench....The floor can be dirt for all I care.

I've never been to the gym @ the Roney, but my boys did last year and they said it's pretty good... I'm going to really try hard to straighten (sober) myself up and get in there at least three times, even if it's a lite circuit training session....
They should have a gym on the beach... I remember two years ago, there was some really big fitness thing going on down in SoBe right after the week of WMC was over... I spent two days there doing everything... boxing, lifting, etc..

That was a Bally's event I think. I saw them setting up as I was leaving.
Roney has a cement patio outside of the gym and last year they had equipment set up out there...benches, ab stuff, etc...
I was there in November and they had moved it all inside. Not sure if its just certain months that they offer outdoor training.
