Is it me or did anyone else realize this?

In there new commercial with the married couple who are supposed to be on a low carb diet, the husband see's his wife at subway...He then goes home to pig out and his wife walks in and goes, what are you doing? He says I saw you at Subway and she goes, "yes, I was getting the new Atkins wrap...And he goes "OOps"

Now is it me or does Subway claim to be the reduced fat everything sandwhich which that fat fuck Jared lost all this weight and now they are basically taking that back in this commercial?

They dont claim to be low fat EVERYTHING. They have a specific low fat menu (that Jared inspired) and then their regular sandwiches (i.e., Meatbull sub)

Well then they false advertise because every commercial they shoot talks about Jared and how he lost all this weight by eating subway...lol In this commercial though, they basically make themself seem as if they dont have anything fat free which they promoted over the past few years

You heard the story of how he got famous?

no - in the Jared story he ate a certain type of sandwich every day ( i dont remember what it was)
after that subway came up with its 7 menu - which is a special low fat menu (i think everything is under 7 G of fat)
now theyre jumping on the low carb bandwagon & doing a seperate menu for that too

they didnt fuck themselves. all the husband insinuated was that subway sandwiches are made with bread, which is carbs. if you didnt know bread is carbs before the commercial, youre probably too dumb to pick up on the innuendo anyway.

They're not technically lying--he DID lose weight by eating Subway. They just don't specify WHAT he ate. Once they lure their potential customers to their store, THEN the customer can see for themselves that Subway has a low fat menu (and it might even mention something about Jared on the menu).

It's just a marketing ploy.

Low Carb and low fat are two different things. They are trying to take a whole different approach.

Yes but when they claim to have a low fat menu, why use yourself as an example to break a diet when you promote healthy eating styles...Kind of an omymoron if you ask me

some people diet by cutting fat. other people diet by cutting carbs. essentially, subway has now let everyone know that people on both diet plans can find something to eat at subway.

No shit fuckface......

The whole point of low fat, low carb really isn't the point...

You lose weight from reducing either or....

eating low-fat subway sandwiches would not be considered breaking a diet unless your on atkins, because obviously the bread is carbs. theyre not saying theyre fattening. theyre saying that if you want to avoid carbs here is a great option at subway. atkins diets you can eat as much fat as you want.

The point Im trying to make is why would you use your own franchise as an example of breaking a diet when you claim to have such a great healthy menu..

Point is your the victim of a marketing scheme and you don't even know it. Subway doesn't give a shit if it makes sense, they know consumers will pay attention to it; not only did you pay attention to it but you spent a decent amount of your own time spreading the word for them. (Now that makes no sense)
