For those who do cardio...

It is reported that doing a short warm-up, then going straight into high intensity and then warming down burns off the most calories as compared to building up intensity slowly.

Muscle & Fitness, December 2003, p 178.

Yes interval cardio is much better than boring moderate cardio. Nothing like High Intensity cardio first thing in the morning. Ouch.

20 minute runs with intermittent 90 second sprints throughout is ideal but basically any kind of interval training is best for fat burning. I laugh at the heiffers on the bikes that sit there for hours taking up all the cardio equipment and wonder why they're not making a difference

exaaaaaaaaaaaaaactly

as is pretty much every other one on the stands. and aside from all the supplement banners, you'll read an article in it 1 week that promotes 1 exercise or stretch or even range of motion and the next week it will tell u the complete opposite. complete garbage IMO.

they're as useful as Bally's trainers

Welcome to the world of research. We constantly have evidence on conflicting sides that are worth showing. I find their articles quite credible when journal references are attached.

im naturally lean so i stay away from cardio all together and rely on diet to get lean. since i am a hardgainer, the most i do in a cutting phase is to do 15 or 20 mintes at a HR of 140 first thing in the morning 3-4 times a week. i find that my legs shrink when i do heavy cardio or play basketball.

there's research and then there's twists and turns to established facts to help put products on a shelf... that's the shit that irks me

I do 45 minutes of cardio on the EFX eliptical machine about 4 times a week. Should I stay to 1 course or change it up? I usually do the interval or weight loss course
