What do you guys think about it..and how would you feel about one in NY ..more appeal than one in Miami?

What's so special about them?

Special is not really a word I would use for a fast food joint but a Miami Sub in NY could have extra appeal. I eat it usually at least once per visit to southern FL & Im a fan. The chicken pita is good.
The whole artdeco decor of the place i think is a selling point in the north.

Yeah, I can definitely see the appeal, but they might have some hefty competition with Quizno's and other chains like that.
kinda like having a CPK (california pizza kitchen) in NY .
Its the same product just a different name and look as opposed to other pan pizza places out there . Does any one know of any of these around? last CPK i saw was in montreal

I want a Ocean Cafe opened up in Manhattan. Damn best wraps ever!! Too bad they closed the one in Belmar :(
Is it a chain outside of Miami?? What makes it any different than all the other sub places besides decor?? 75% of the people that buy from these places usually do take out.

Unless, you pull something like Cosi did with the place on 13th and Broadway where its mostly like a restaurant rather than a take out place.
Miami Subs is the only drive threw that i know that has platters (shrimp) and good food! im a fan...

They should have never bought them into NY.
Miami subs are Miami subs for a reason. I go to Miami, and enjoy a lil Miami sub on my vacation.

there is one in NY...I saw one last Sunday by the IHOP in Oceanside, LI (I think that was the town in L.I.)....
I don't think it would have much appeal though as being in Miami..NY is fine with a Blimpie or Subway...
