If you think about it, 1lb is 3,500 calories. Do you know how hard it is to lose 10lbs in less than 2 weeks? If you give yourself 2 weeks you'll have to expend 49,000 calories. You can do this pretty easily if you don't mind locking yourself in a dark room with no food or water for 2 weeks. I don't understand why you would compromise your health over a bet. You said you're not even "overweight," which makes it harder to lose large amounts. If you weighed 500lbs I think you could lose 10lbs easily in 2 weeks, but what you are thinking just isn't very rational. The reason you can't keep off weight is because of pulling weight loss stunts like this. If you want to lose weight, shoot for 1lb a week. You should keep the ass anyway; guys like booty.

1. try eating 5-6 meals/day instead of stuffin down three meals. this will keep your metabolism going throughout the day, naturally burning more calories. also, eat the larger meals earlier in the day.

2. if you're ambitious you can try doing cardio in the day and then some weights at night, but try to leave a 6-8 hour window inbetween so your body can rest/heal.

3. not that i agree with them, but hydroxy's and/or xenadrine can help.

4. as always, lay off the simple carbs.

there's more but i'm lazy...

atkins diet

guaranteed to drop pounds asap

but i agree with joeyjoey..if you are not overweight in the first place, your goals are impossible..you might be able to lose 10 lbs in a month or two..no way in 2 weeks

Atkins is a good idea if you think you can reach ketosis, but it only works for short periods of time.

Ugh! I remember friends in High School who almost killed themselves trying to stay at weight for wrestling. They did shit like spitting into a cup all day instead of swallowing it to lose water weight. Also putting on rubber suits and running stairs. Then there was always starving.

I think you'd be crazy to try any of that tho, they were only temporary water weight loses for the day of the match, not fat loss.....
