Out of your list I have seen Runaway Jury...very very good...totally unpredictable story line, kept my interest throughout, John Cusack's usually phenomenal acting skills were just an added bonus to a very entertaining movie.. I saw Chicago when it first came out.....absofuckinlutely superb movie... Renee Zelwegger's acting is just top-notch, Catherine Zeta Jones also did a fien job altho even though she's the one who won the Oscar (if I'm not mistaken, correct me if Im wrong?) I found Renee's acting to be more impressive in this particular film. Loved the musical adaptation-feel to this movie, thoroughlyyy enjoyed it. SO good.

I only have a few reviews this time.... my MONSTER review speaks for itself... too lazy to link but DEFINITELY some of the best acting i have seen in a long time, particularly from Charlize Theron, but Christina Ricci as well..

The other movie I saw recently was SPUN... very Requiem for a Dream feel to this movie... incredibly disturbing and morbid... made me glad I never tried Tina lol.. it was sickening but I couldn't change the channel no matter how disgusted I was... acting was nothing spectacular but Brittany Murphy was certainly made for that role. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoyed Requiem for a Dream and likes movies about drugs.

That's all I caught this wk so far but it's only Tuesday...more to come I'm sure.

that's all you thought? if anything i thought Chicago was a lot more than a good story.. the music, the whole collaboration of scenes between verbal dialogue & the musical aspect..it had the excitement of broadway along with a good story. i thought this movie was phenomenal.. i would have given it a 4.6 / 5 :chuckle

besides the eye candy of catherine zeta-jones who looked more than gorgeous, & richard gere who just always looks :aroused

Exactly! Ok u hafta verify this for me though b/c I know u are just as Oscar-trivia obsessed as I :chuckle... Renee got a nomination for this movie but no Oscar, Catherine Zeta Jones won the Oscar supporting actress? Right or wrong? I'm pretty sure it went down like that b/c although the irony of it is that RZ irks me and I find CZJ to be astonishingly beautiful and talented, i was actually disappointed with the turnout that year b/c I was SO impressed with Renee's performance. Richard Gere of course was amazing and gorgeous as ever, although his character annoyed me loll. Ahh...such a good movie! Almost (almost almost) comparable to Moulin Rouge! (B/c of the theatrical aspect of it)..

Now I need u to check out "Monster," my favorite female Oscar-recipient in years! I will find out how to watch the documentary first for u, I want u to see both, I am so passionate about the acting in this movie and I know u will agree with me lol.

My thoughts exactly on Butterfly effect. He's such a dumbass that I didn't think the movie could be any good, but I was really into the story.

I have huckabees on my Netflix queue, looking forward to seeing it.

exactly, cracked out or half asleep is no way to watch a movie in subtitles. I have a japanese movie at home that I've had for weeks, for the same reason. I'm gonna try to catch up on them this weekend.

That movie sucked..it was too clean cut for me , I was expecting a lil bit more violence and bloodshed..lol but It was an indy flic so they had to go and make it "artsy"

that movie was flawless! when i first got the dvd i watched in over and over. i wasn't too crazy about the show when i saw it on broadway, but the movie was absolutely awesome!

the whole concept is VERY realistic in NYC, especially in queens, Ive known girls that have went to another country to pick up a "maletta" and bring it back ( but not swallowing anything), which is very scary. The movie was shot in an artsy realist point of view, and it wasnt as graphic as I thought it would be, except the part where they cut that girl open :tweeker
