NEW YORK: Wednesday, March 16, 2005

Godiva has announced the winner of its ninth annual Valentine’s Day promotion, and the lucky recipient, who in addition to receiving 52 boxes of chocolates, roundtrip airfare for two to New York City, and—this is the real clincher—52 pairs of Manolo Blahniks, is Heidi Hollingsworth. A college student at Austin Community College, the Austin, TX native received the winning box of Godiva chocolates from her father as a Valentine’s Day gift. And come March 21, Hollingsworth will visit the famed Manolo Blahnik boutique on 54th Street, where she will not only meet Godiva vice president Gene Dunkin and Manolo Blahnik president George Malkemus, but she’ll get to select a few pairs on the spot, among them the red “Diva” shoe, custom designed by Mr. Blahnik for Godiva. No word on whether she’s a fan of Sex and the City or not.

seriously, i feel your pain..

the only comfort i can offer is like i said before, just hope she gains 52 lbs with the chocolate so that her feet will get fat & wont fit into the manolos

Being a SATC fan just automatically makes u a better person in every aspect of life. Lol... and also let's not forget how extensive the SATC influence was with Manolo Blahniks, they had such huge exposure on the show..

I am embarrassed and ashamed to admit I only sent 1 entry but I truly hope that there is some serious disastrous event that prevents this girl from being able to wear the 52 pairs of Manolos.. as for the Godiva... well hopefully she eats them all in a state of depression and gains 52 lbs :chuckle

Not directly, but me & Mariss have a very distinct tact for somehow relating everything to SATC, in this case it actually did happen to be somewhat relevant though :keke
