Last Sunday I switched to weight gainer too see what would happen. As of this saturday...I LOST 5 lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The weight gainer was 930 calories per serving. I was drinking 2 to 3 shakes a day. One in the morning and one about 1hr before I went to sleep. If I could get a 3rd one in, and that one would be after the gym. I still ate as normal 3 - 4 real(food) meals a day and still drank enough water. I was about 178-179 before I went on the weight gainer and was just taking whey protein(2 shakes a day) and eating the same way. I even ate dirty when I was on the weight gainer and it still didnt do shit.
I am getting extreemly fustrated with this shit......

Try one shake a day, and 7 or 8 smaller meals... shakes don't put on mass bro. Trust me I tried. You want mass go to the store and buy 30 lbs. of meat and chow some cooked breasts or steaks when your hungry. Nothing is better than FOOD! :WINK
and that 30 lbs. of meat probably costs as much as those supplements your buying!

Question: If you intake 50g whey protein in a shake how much will your body use?
Just curious what your opinion is....

Depending on your size, around 40g can be digested at once. It takes about an hour and 15 minutes to digest that; digestion will take much longer for higher amounts, which is why meals should be at least two hours apart. Technically, the protein is not wasted, but it isn't used to feed your muscles after too much is taken at once.

What happens to the protein your body can't absorb?
